duet firmware m997 s0

  • m997 s0
Shutting down USB interface to update main firmware. Try reconnecting after 30 seconds.

    What's wrong?

  • administrators

@MRJEON how do you mean? That looks like the correct response to sending the upgrade command.

  • After disconnecting the power for 30 seconds and reconnecting, I tried typing m997 s0, but the answer is the same.
I tried sending the m122 command to see if the firmware was installed properly. It looks good, but I can't connect even if I try to access the wifi web control.

  • Can't web control be connected if only micro USB is connected?

  • Moderator

Yes the web interface should work fine when only powered by USB.

What error message do you get in the browser when you try to connect to the IP address?

Do you have the DWC files in the /www folder of the sd card?

    https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.1.1/DuetWebControl-SD-3.1.1.zip

  • @Phaedrux Yes I downloaded it and put it in the www folder. Should I unpack the zip file in the www folder?

  • Moderator

Yes it needs to be extracted into /www

    WiFi module is idle

That's why you can't connect. What happens if you send M552 S1 from USB? You should get a response within 30 seconds.

So it can't find your router. Try deleting the stored networks using M588 S"*", then use M587 to enter the router SSID and password again. Note, the SSID and password are case sensitive.

Do you actually have a router whose SSID is "test" ?

  • @dc42 sorry I couldn't input the correct ssid and pw. Does duet 2 wifi support 5G?

  • administrators

You need to enter the correct SSID and password for your WiFi router.
