Corexy X moves back and y moves across
I paired the wires by using a multimeter.
At one point, and with no changes to the wiring everything worked perfectly with the correct movements.
At one I end up with error short to ground and at another point phases a and b may be disconnected I no longer get this but the motors do vibrate and no longer move smoothly.
I'm using 3.1.1

Check your wiring for bad crimps. If you feel your wiring is correct and sound it could be that a driver failed, in that case try using another driver (but make 100% sure your wiring is correct)

@npm1 if the motors vibrate and don't move, it could be too high current setting for the drivers in the config also, M906.
Please post your config.g, homing files, and the results of sending M122 and M98 P"config.g" in the gcode console.

do you have a duet3 by any chance? (it could be this https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/18011/duet-3-6hc-short-to-ground-issue )
All sorted now with working bltouch
I realised that after a while y axis driver was creating alot of problems so am now using E1 for y instead....
Thanks for all the help
The board was completely gone with nothing being functional as it should
