My Mini is not really OK to start with WiFi

Very often I have to start WiFi via terminal, not so good. Now config.g was missing but as I have backup in my PC it is not so bad. But this terminal job is getting frustrating.

as my reseller only has V0.5 and this would be 3rd board I am not really keen to have another V0.5

ps once again today after emergency stop = wifi restart via terminal and config.g was gone

Is there a workaround for the (potentially) bad SD-card socket?
E.g. add a piece of paper to the SD-card to increase pressure to the contacts?
Or check solder points?

Well we don't currently know if it's a hardware problem or a firmware problem. Usually with an SD card slot issue the entire card would be unreadable and yet still work fine in a PC. The issue of the config.g disappearing is something new and different. We don't know if it's a problem with the way the config is being saved, or if it's a hardware problem happening during a save. Or something completely different interacting. The first ones that were replaced should be arriving soon for further investigation.
