Duex5 Testers

hello It would be my greatest pleasure too. Diamond hotend here I come….

It may be complete overkill to use this board for this but I'd like to add several more thermistor controlled fans to my printer as a way of turning them off or slowing them down when not needed. Currently, I have a pair of fans in the upper triangle (enclosed) of my printer, another pair in the lower triangle (enclosed), a fan on the Duet WiFi, and fans on the effector. Being able to turn off or slow down the electronics cooling fans when not needed would make a significant reduction in noise. Especially since my stepper motors now make almost zero noise thanks to the Duet Wifi! Would there be some way to have the heater connections reverse their operation so that they power up to cool instead of heat? A firmware change is probably necessary.

Aside from the features that Tony mentioned, the board has another 5 PWM-controlled outputs for fans or lighting. So it should be able to do what you want if you don't run out of thermistor channels.

I definitely need one of these for my full delta, so please include me in the list.

Hi Tony,
Yes please. We will buy one.
Best wishes

If there are any left I will buy one.

Please add me to the list!

Would love to. But first need to launch the Zesty Nimble.
This takes all my time at the moment so it would not be fair to those guys that can spend time on it.But I am very interested as I am prepping a Diamond nozzle head so need 1 more extruder.
Also want to start looking into full colour printing so I will need more control. -
I'll sign up for one.

Count me for one

I'd like to help test.

Love to try it out!

Yes add me to the list

Add me too !

I'd love to help. Please add me.

Please add me to the list (hopefully having being overseas doesn't mean I miss out)

Count me in, I would love to help

I'd be interested, especially if it's possible to use the extra heater channels for 12 volt rgb led control. I see no reason why not other than the firmware shutting down the channels due to bogus thermistor readings.

The DueX5 design has 5 additional PWM outputs for fans and LEDs. This is the untried part of the design, so there is a possibility that it won't work properly - which I guess is why Tony didn't mention it in the first post.
