Why the non-rectangular shape? Is it designed to fit something in particular?

Fits on the back of a nema 14. Most extruder designs use these now

Is the sensing coil included or is that a separate item?

That is new to me.

And the BEST part - I get to buy new tools and spare parts for the connectors I've never seen before!

I downloaded the step file for the tool board you mentioned but it has some funny bits.

What are all those little white dots?

Perhaps the file needs some work?
