Hello everybody,

I want to add an LED stripe to my printer which is showing the temperature of the active nozzle.
For example if the nozzle is cold it should be blue if the nozzle has reached the temp it should be red.

Can I send M42 P13 S220 to send the PWM value 220 (220°C) to heater4 pin and read it out on an arduino which is controlling my LED stripe? Would this work?

If this works I need to do this automatically every second, and the parameter Sxxx should be the actual temperature how can I do this???

I hope anybody could help me to do this.

I have some questions, after a long time I did not use my printer I update my duet2wifi yesterday to the newest firmeware.

Then I send the print file to the printer and every thing works well. After a while the printer stops with an error that wifi is unavailable.

I use this printer in a room where I have no Wifi, so I make a hotspot with my smartphone, upload the printfile and the I want to turn off the hotspot, so how can I avoid the Wifi error?

And the second question, when I use Bambu Studio, I get always messages that there was a bad command, can I use Bambu studio with RRF?

@luke-slaboratory If i add your example I get a warning that the code is not ok. If I add it without the -10 and +10 it is ok. Do I have to remove the M557 from the bed.g macro and put it to the config.g?

The P parameter defines how much points to do on each axis, right?

I am wondering if there is a way to do the mesh bed Leveling only in the area where the extruder is printing. So if I want to print just a small thing that the messurement point are also just in this small area?

ok the serial communication is ok, the sktech does not work with my paneldue firmware, an other sketch works. For this I want to use I need paneldue firware 3.2, but I have just 1.21.4.

Yes I have both connected the arduino (mini pro, nano and uno tested) and a paneldue 5i. On the arduino nano the rx led is blinking every second. The Panel is working fine. I also tested to add a level converter (Tx, 3.3V, and GND from the Duet to the low side and Rx, 5V and GND from the arduino on the high side).

I can make the test with the serial monitor tonight. And also I will test the M408/M409.

I just use the Tx from the duet. But with the M575 I hab no luck.

Hi, I want to add some Neopixel to my printer I used the neopixel sketch for blv cube on github. I have an Duet2Wifi and connected a arduino pro mini to the pin10 UTXD0 to RX on the arduino but I receive no data. I also tried a arduino uno and nano there is also the same problem. I have a paneldue 5i connected and the everything is fine. What could there be the problem?
