I have some questions, after a long time I did not use my printer I update my duet2wifi yesterday to the newest firmeware.

Then I send the print file to the printer and every thing works well. After a while the printer stops with an error that wifi is unavailable.

I use this printer in a room where I have no Wifi, so I make a hotspot with my smartphone, upload the printfile and the I want to turn off the hotspot, so how can I avoid the Wifi error?

And the second question, when I use Bambu Studio, I get always messages that there was a bad command, can I use Bambu studio with RRF?

@luke-slaboratory If i add your example I get a warning that the code is not ok. If I add it without the -10 and +10 it is ok. Do I have to remove the M557 from the bed.g macro and put it to the config.g?

The P parameter defines how much points to do on each axis, right?

I am wondering if there is a way to do the mesh bed Leveling only in the area where the extruder is printing. So if I want to print just a small thing that the messurement point are also just in this small area?

ok the serial communication is ok, the sktech does not work with my paneldue firmware, an other sketch works. For this I want to use I need paneldue firware 3.2, but I have just 1.21.4.

Yes I have both connected the arduino (mini pro, nano and uno tested) and a paneldue 5i. On the arduino nano the rx led is blinking every second. The Panel is working fine. I also tested to add a level converter (Tx, 3.3V, and GND from the Duet to the low side and Rx, 5V and GND from the arduino on the high side).

I can make the test with the serial monitor tonight. And also I will test the M408/M409.

I just use the Tx from the duet. But with the M575 I hab no luck.

Hi, I want to add some Neopixel to my printer I used the neopixel sketch for blv cube on github. I have an Duet2Wifi and connected a arduino pro mini to the pin10 UTXD0 to RX on the arduino but I receive no data. I also tried a arduino uno and nano there is also the same problem. I have a paneldue 5i connected and the everything is fine. What could there be the problem?

how can I setup a Duet2Wifi with an Linux PC, the docu is just for Windows and Mac. Is there something like YAT for Linux?

I will test both methods because sometimes my offset for the x-axis is not correct anymore, and I don't know why. I set it up, then I print something and maybe some prints later the offset is faulty.

Maybe the adjustment with a second x-axis would be easier or work better. I will test it.

When does the firmware exactly switch from x to u axis? Right at the moment, the second tool is readily connected?

Hello,

is it possible to define an extra endstop for x-axis max position?

I have a dual extruder parking system and I want to use a maximum endstop wich is the exact parking position for the second extruder.

I have a printing area of 290mm and the parking position for the second extruder is 310mm so if I make a toolchange I want to go to positive direction with the x axis until the max endstop hits.

As i was surching for an alternative for a diamond hotend i found 2 for me interesting things. The quadfusion extruder and this hotend.

So I measured the voltage again. I plugged a connector with 2 cables at the fan1 pins and connected this to a multimeter.

If I measure between VFAN and FAN1- I see 7.6V when the fan is at 0% on the web control and 12V when the fan is at 100%.

My fan0 is connected to tool0 (printcooler 12V DC fan 5015), fan1 to the hotend of tool0 and tool1 (two 12V DC fans 30x30 e3dv6 hotend fans) and fan2 to tool1 (printcooler 12V DC fan 5015).

I have tried fan1 with M106 P1 T45 H0:1 and also M106 P1 H-1. But the fan is not working on fan1, if I connet the same fan to fan0 it is working so the fan is ok.

My config.g looks like this:

M106 P0 S0 H-1
M106 P1 S0 H-1
M106 P2 S0 H-1

and with thermostatically controlled fan1

M106 P0 S0 H-1
M106 P1 S0 T45 H0:1
M106 P2 S0 H-1

In both cases fan1 is not working.

I hope my config.g file is correct.

I will meassure out the fan1 pin again for both cases (switched on and switched off and will post the voltages for both cases.

Thank you for your awnser. Is Therme a schematic available that I can repair my fan 1 maybe I can make a little pcb with an new mosfet LG change the broken one.
Or maybe there is an schematic for the duex Board that I can use one of these fan pin.

I have broken my fan 1 output. I have tested the fan on another output it is working and also the config.g was ok cause it worked yesterday. I think it is cause I unplugged the fan without switching off the power. I measured the voltage on the output it is about 11.98V so I think the voltage should be ok but there is not enough current on this output. Can it be that the mosfet is broken?

So, for now, I connected the fan to an always-on fan. Cause this is the fan for the hotend. The other fan outputs I need for the printcooling.

So can I use fan 3-7 for thermostatic control? And where can I find the Pins for the fans 3-7???
