    • RE: Problem with bondtech lgx and Filament Monitor

@demonio669 I bought the new 30mm bondtech's motor and the hardened gears, yesterday I installed it and I made 2 prints without failing.

It was bondtech lgx fault! not filament monitor!

Bondtech lgx does not have enough power to pull the filament.

    • RE: Help! Too little movement error

      Please Excuse my english

      Some tips:

      • Check filament flow rate is lower than the nozzle can handle . I have e3e Revo Micro and this page has useful:

      https://e3d-online.com/pages/revo-nozzle-maximum-flow-rates

      • Try to put the spool over bearings to minimize the pull the spool makes to the sensor

      • Check the sensor wheel is clean and if don´t cleanit by removing the plastic stuck in it

      • Check the extruder is not loosing steps

      • Check the extruder e-steps is correctly calibrated (if you send 100mm to extrude (G1 E100, you measure exactly 100mm )

    • Configuring Type 4 = sensor with microswitch

Re: Configuring Type 4 = sensor with microswitch

Today I connect a microswitch to filament monitor and configured to use it ( type 4)

I think there is a bug in the M591 D0 output it shows:

      19/10/2023, 22:53:39 M591 D0
Duet3D rotating magnet filament monitor v4 with switch on pin io6.in, enabled, sensitivity 28.80mm/rev, allow 60% to 160%, check printing moves every 3.0mm, version 4, filament present, mag 132 agc 38, measured sensitivity 25.75mm/rev, min 97% max 103% ove

It finishes in "ove" instead in "over xxxx.xx mm"
