      Omg, I can’t believe it. I somehow managed to plug in EXP2 into the Duet 3 Mini 5+ reversed (it’s dark back there) and I also didn’t think I needed the M150 command. Fixed those and now it works.

      Decreasing the gain or heating rate parameter will fix the "temperature rising too slowly" error. It might have the side-effect of causing the temperature to oscillate slightly. If so, then increase the dead time parameter enough to stop the oscillations.

      I have measured the power current of the fan and found that it is too much. The current of the fan rised above 1A after a short time.

      I have replaced the fan and now everything works.

      So it turned out to be the fan that was causing the reset as we suspected.

      Yes that should work. Just be very careful on connecting the jumper wire to prevent connecting VIN and 5v.
