  • Configuring Slicer

    Hi,

I don't know if here it's the best place to post this kind of topic but…. I'm wondering what slicer duet users use in order to achieve great prints. I was using Cura 2.6 And I had really nice looking prints. But because Cura 2.6 can't work with relative extrusion I installed the 3.0 one. The main advantage here is that I can use relative extrusion and also I can benefit from power outage protection feature. The problem is that with the same settings imported from Cura 2.6 into 3.0 I can't achieve the same quality of prints. They don't look bad but it's under my standard. Then I tried slic3r because it can support relative extrusion. Alot of tweaking but still, not awesome results. My main problems are small blobs and zits at the seam position. I did not had them in Cura 2.6. I have increased coasting and retraction extra prime( negative ) values, I tweaked the extrusion width and so on. Still not the results that I was expected.

So, what are you guys using as a slicer that support relative extrusion mode and maybe you are willing to post some values (pictures) also. Oh, BTW I'm using a bowden tube system 70cm long.

  • I can no longer Load/Unload different filaments

    Hi,

Firmware Name: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet
Firmware Electronics: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later
    Firmware Version: 2.0(RTOS)RC5 (2018-05-22b1)
    WiFi Server Version: 1.21
    Web Interface Version: 1.21.1-RC4

After the update on this firmware version I can't Load/Unload/Change filaments from my tool head. I have double checked and the right macros for the filaments are present in the "Filaments" folder. What can I do?

    Thanks!

  • Error: M24: Cannot resume while power voltage is low

I have a duet wifi board with this configuration:

Firmware Name: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet
Firmware Electronics: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later
    Firmware Version: 2.0(RTOS)RC5 (2018-05-22b1)
    WiFi Server Version: 1.21
    Web Interface Version: 1.21.1-RC4

I have installed a Runout filament sensor. It's an endstop. After it triggers, I insert a new filament and when to press Resume, I got this error:

Error: M24: Cannot resume while power voltage is low

The input voltage on the board is fluctuating between 11.7 and 12.2V. This error occur even if I intentionally press the Pause button.
