Hello all,
I have a duet wifi 2wifi only.I did have it up and working about a year ago. I tried to connect as I usually do 192.168.0.19 and nothing on the browser. The blue light flashes and then goes solid when the duet is turned on. The display says it has connected to the access point 192.168.0.19.
I haven't been on the forum for so long I forgot what I should be providing and where to post. Maybe you guys can direct me?

RE: New codes for use in RRC3.3 M3,M4,M5
@cjm
I trimmed the code and have one instance of M563. Still no luck. Maybe it's easier to get an output on Fan0 output?
I'm wondering if I can get an output off of the fan connectors or E0 Heater connector? Using the expansion connector is not so easy.My config.g

M950, M563, M3 commands to run VFD
Hello All,
I have a Duet2 ethernet and trying to get this CNC running. I tried sending M3 P0 S2000 but nothing. I took a look with my Oscope to see if any PWM is coming on Pin 13 signal, pin 30 gnd of expansion connector.
I think I have the Gcode right but I really don't fully understand These commands yet.code_text 8/9/2021, 7:11:15 PM m122 === Diagnostics === RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet version 3.3 (2021-06-15 21:44:54) running on Duet Ethernet 1.02 or later Board ID: 0JD0M-9P6B2-NJ4S4-6JTD2-3S46K-KU0LM Used output buffers: 1 of 24 (13 max) === RTOS === Static ram: 23876 Dynamic ram: 70264 of which 0 recycled Never used RAM 20276, free system stack 150 words Tasks: NETWORK(ready,25.2%,237) HEAT(delaying,0.0%,390) Move(notifyWait,0.1%,309) MAIN(running,74.6%,449) IDLE(ready,0.2%,29), total 100.0% Owned mutexes: === Platform === Last reset 00:08:25 ago, cause: power up Last software reset at 2021-08-09 18:46, reason: User, GCodes spinning, available RAM 20276, slot 1 Software reset code 0x0003 HFSR 0x00000000 CFSR 0x00000000 ICSR 0x0041f000 BFAR 0xe000ed38 SP 0x00000000 Task MAIN Freestk 0 n/a Error status: 0x00 Aux0 errors 0,0,0 Step timer max interval 0 MCU temperature: min 28.9, current 39.7, max 40.2 Supply voltage: min 23.8, current 23.8, max 23.9, under voltage events: 0, over voltage events: 0, power good: yes Heap OK, handles allocated/used 0/0, heap memory allocated/used/recyclable 0/0/0, gc cycles 0 Driver 0: position 0, standstill, SG min/max 0/1023 Driver 1: position 0, standstill, SG min/max 0/1023 Driver 2: position 0, standstill, SG min/max not available Driver 3: position 0, standstill, SG min/max not available Driver 4: position 0, standstill, SG min/max not available Driver 5: position 0 Driver 6: position 0 Driver 7: position 0 Driver 8: position 0 Driver 9: position 0 Driver 10: position 0 Driver 11: position 0 Date/time: 2021-08-09 19:11:12 Cache data hit count 4294967295 Slowest loop: 9.14ms; fastest: 0.14ms I2C nak errors 0, send timeouts 0, receive timeouts 0, finishTimeouts 0, resets 0 === Storage === Free file entries: 10 SD card 0 detected, interface speed: 20.0MBytes/sec SD card longest read time 3.3ms, write time 0.0ms, max retries 0 === Move === DMs created 83, maxWait 490658ms, bed compensation in use: none, comp offset 0.000 === MainDDARing === Scheduled moves 5, completed moves 5, hiccups 0, stepErrors 0, LaErrors 0, Underruns [0, 0, 0], CDDA state -1 === AuxDDARing === Scheduled moves 0, completed moves 0, hiccups 0, stepErrors 0, LaErrors 0, Underruns [0, 0, 0], CDDA state -1 === Heat === Bed heaters = -1 -1 -1 -1, chamberHeaters = -1 -1 -1 -1 === GCodes === Segments left: 0 Movement lock held by null HTTP is idle in state(s) 0 Telnet is idle in state(s) 0 File is idle in state(s) 0 USB is idle in state(s) 0 Aux is idle in state(s) 0 Trigger is idle in state(s) 0 Queue is idle in state(s) 0 LCD is idle in state(s) 0 Daemon is idle in state(s) 0 Autopause is idle in state(s) 0 Code queue is empty. === Network === Slowest loop: 14.94ms; fastest: 0.02ms Responder states: HTTP(0) HTTP(0) HTTP(0) HTTP(0) FTP(0) Telnet(0), 0 sessions HTTP sessions: 1 of 8 Interface state active, link 100Mbps full duplex

Hello CJM,
I have things hooked up properly and I think I have code in Config.g proper, but no signal out to the PWM converter board. I checked with an O-scope. I tried sending M3 P0 S2000. No response.

New codes for use in RRC3.3 M3,M4,M5
I found some M codes I'd like to use but how? What output will they control? I have a Duet 2 Ethernet. Maybe these codes are only for Duet 3 Mainboard 6HC??
I have my Duet 2 Ethernet controlling the axis on my CNC and I'm working on getting the Spindle to go. I bought one of those PWM to variable voltage out boards. I was reading the link on the forum about that. I was looking into Gcodes and Mcodes on how to run it.
What about M3, M4, and M5??
I found M950. Can this be assigned to any output? (Like E0 or E1)
My 2.2KW spindle has a max RPM of 24,000. At the moment I have a PWM to 0 to 10Volt converter board hooked to the AIN.
I'd like to try sending a trial code to see it turn on just to get a response. Then I could put that into the config.g file if it works.Mark
code_text M950 R0 C"!exp.heater3" L12000 ; Spindle 0 uses exp.heater3 as RPM pin and has a max RPM of 12000

RepRapFirmware 3.3 upgrade issues
Hello All,
Do I need to modify config.g to get RepRapFirmware 3.3 to work? When rebooting to this software I loose connection to DWC?? So I dropped back to RepRapFirmware 3.2 and all is ok.Mark

RE: Z axis homes, X & Y axis tries to but crashes
@fcwilt Hey there Frederick. I solved it. X & Y limit switches were swaped even though I thought I paid particular attention to getting them right when wiring! How did that happen! I also found a pin in the connector loose.
Now I need to get the panel du5i working!
Maybe I'll get lucky and have no problems!Thanks so much!

X-axis not responding to x-axis limit SW
New setup with Duet2 Ethernet. X-axis not responding to x-axis limit SW. Limit sw are nc and I see they do work and turn on the light for it's axis. I also noticed the motors move so slow.
I want to calibrate movement. I think that has to do with steps per mm. I just need to move what should be 100mm. Until homed I can't get it to move.
Poibt me in the right direction.Mark

RE: Duet 2 Ethernet can't get Duet Web Control
@phaedrux hELLO Phaedrux,
I got DWC by running a cable from primary router to a secondary router and now DWC is working.
Now I trying to calibrate movement. I also have a problem with X-axis not responding to x-axis limit SW. I see the light toggle on the board but the motor doesn't stop. Maybe M574 cmd? Maybe you can steer me in the right direction for what to fix first and some pointers about how?Mark

RE: Duet 2 Ethernet can't get Duet Web Control
@phaedrux
Ok, I tried it on the other computer but can't even get a connect through YAT terminal.
I hooked again to my computer upstairs and have YAT terminal. I found that only 192.168.0.14 works as a way to get duet web control. If I try 192.168.0.20 0r 192.168.0.12 the connection times out. I checked what it was setup as with M552 and it was set correctly.
There must be something I'm not yet understanding.code_text M122 === Diagnostics === RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet version 3.1.1 running on Duet Ethernet 1.02 or later Board ID: 0JD0M-9P6B2-NJ4S4-6JTD2-3S46K-KU0LM Used output buffers: 1 of 24 (10 max) === RTOS === Static ram: 27980 Dynamic ram: 92084 of which 20 recycled Exception stack ram used: 256 Never used ram: 10732 Tasks: NETWORK(ready,524) HEAT(blocked,1456) MAIN(running,1936) IDLE(ready,80) Owned mutexes: === Platform === Last reset 00:57:47 ago, cause: power up Last software reset details not available Error status: 0 MCU temperature: min 31.5, current 33.0, max 33.4 Supply voltage: min 1.6, current 1.7, max 1.8, under voltage events: 0, over voltage events: 0, power good: no Driver 0: ok, SG min/max not available Driver 1: ok, SG min/max not available Driver 2: ok, SG min/max not available Driver 3: ok, SG min/max not available Driver 4: ok, SG min/max not available Date/time: 2021-07-27 12:45:53 Cache data hit count 4294967295 Slowest loop: 55.67ms; fastest: 0.08ms I2C nak errors 0, send timeouts 0, receive timeouts 0, finishTimeouts 0, resets 0 === Storage === Free file entries: 10 SD card 0 detected, interface speed: 20.0MBytes/sec SD card longest read time 3.9ms, write time 0.0ms, max retries 0 === Move === Hiccups: 0(0), FreeDm: 169, MinFreeDm: 169, MaxWait: 0ms Bed compensation in use: none, comp offset 0.000 === MainDDARing === Scheduled moves: 0, completed moves: 0, StepErrors: 0, LaErrors: 0, Underruns: 0, 0 CDDA state: -1 === AuxDDARing === Scheduled moves: 0, completed moves: 0, StepErrors: 0, LaErrors: 0, Underruns: 0, 0 CDDA state: -1 === Heat === Bed heaters = -1 -1 -1 -1, chamberHeaters = -1 -1 -1 -1 === GCodes === Segments left: 0 Movement lock held by null HTTP is idle in state(s) 0 Telnet is idle in state(s) 0 File is idle in state(s) 0 USB is ready with "M122" in state(s) 0 Aux is idle in state(s) 0 Trigger is idle in state(s) 0 Queue is idle in state(s) 0 Daemon is idle in state(s) 0 Autopause is idle in state(s) 0 Code queue is empty. === Network === Slowest loop: 5.91ms; fastest: 0.00ms Responder states: HTTP(0) HTTP(0) HTTP(0) HTTP(0) FTP(0) Telnet(0), 0 sessions HTTP sessions: 1 of 8 Interface state active, link 100Mbps full duplex ok
This is at the computer upstairs where I can get duet web control on 192.168.0.14
Is there anything I can look for settings? Anything you want me to copy and send to you so that you can see??

RE: Duet 2 Ethernet can't get Duet Web Control
@Phaedrux
Hello Phaedrux,
I hoked up Yat terminal on my upstairs computer and set M552 S1 P0.0.0.0
and got 192.168.0.14
I tried that in my browser and I get duet web control.
Now I just need to get the same hooked up direct to the basement computer and hook the Duet to the CNC machine.
I'll try that link you sent and see how far I get.
Why do people need a ethernet switch?? Maybe I should also try a ethernet bridge and a switch??Mark

RE: Duet 2 Ethernet can't get Duet Web Control
@phaedrux The light on the right of the Ethernet port is lit steady and the other flashes green ocasionally.
The router is a wifi router situated upstairs. I could plug into that and try it. -
RE: Duet 2 Ethernet can't get Duet Web Control
@alankilian I typed that into the browser and it times out. I changed the address to 192.168.0.20 and tried it with same results.

RE: Duet 2 Ethernet can't get Duet Web Control
@phaedrux
You can connect it directly, but you will need to make sure the IP address you manually set for the computer and Duet are in the same range.https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Setting_up_networking_on_Duet
Also make sure that your SD card has a /www folder on it with the files for the web interface in it. I do have this folder.
What IP address have you set for the Duet? 192.168.0.20
How have you set it? M552 S1 P192.168.0.20
What IP address have you set for your computer? 192.168.0.15 I looked in properties of my ethernet.
How have you set it? I think it's set different each time I hook to internet.
What happens when you try to reach the IP address of the Duet in your browser?The connection timed out.
The server at 192.168.1.20 is taking too long to respond.The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Can you ping the IP address of the Duet from your computer? I tried to ping from cmd prompt but no response.
Can you communicate with the Duet over USB terminal? Yes, I'm using YAT. -

RE: I'm wondering how to go about controlling MY VFD
@fcwilt Hi, Speed control does'nt need to be very precise. I just need to get it in the ball park so cuts will be fast enough. There are 2 inputs for reverse and forward. x1 on and x2 off is forward, x1 off and x2 on is reverse.
