    • RE: CR-10 Mini bed (12v 220w) on Duet2Wifi

      For wiring the mosfet it would be:

      PSU to Mosfet
      Heated bed to Mosfet
      Mosfet to Bed terminals on Duet2Wifi

      So how much AMP, thru the bed terminals, would the Duet2Wifi have with a mosfet?

    • RE: CR-10 Mini bed (12v 220w) on Duet2Wifi

      The MOSFET sounds like an great idea. I have an MKS Mosfet laying around.

      So i guess this will move the load to the PSU rather than the Duet2Wifi.

      How many AMPs will the Due2Wifi have while connected to a mosfet with the 12V 220W bed?

    • CR-10 Mini bed (12v 220w) on Duet2Wifi

      I've got an Duet2Wifi i'd like to upgrade my old CR-10 mini with. The CR-10 has a bit unusual heated bed (305*235) and is 12V at 220W = 18,3 A.

      Since this bed is uncommon size it's hard to find any 24V alternatives. I also prefer not to have an AC bed on this bedslinger.

      On https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Choosing_a_bed_heater it clearly states: "Direct from the Duet using 12V power. The Duet 2 (Wifi and Ethernet) is rated for up to 18A bed heater current, so this is suitable up to 12 * 18 = 216W power."

      Could it handle the 18.3A on my CR-10 mini? If so i'd also need to replace the 15A Miniblade to a 20A, right?

      Anything else?

    • Turn off fan blip on boot (duex5)

      Hey,

      I have a LED-strip connected to one of the FAN-pins on my Duex5 and on boot it blinks the LED's due to fan blip.

      I've tried using the B0 command;

      M106 P3 B0 S1 H-1

      But it doesn't seem to work. I'm using v 3.1 of the firmware.

      Is there a fix for this?

      Puh, that's nice to hear. I thought i've got an issue.

      It would be great if anybody with a duet2wifi and a duex running the latest firmware and DWC could confirm this.

      Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that the board works just fine. I've got two fans, one motor and a bltouch connected to it.

    • Duex5 not showing up in "Machine-Specific"

      Hey!

      I've just noticed that my Duex5 is no longer showing up under Settings -> Machine-Specifics and "Electronics".

      It's lists:

      Board: Duet 2 WiFi (2WiFi)
      Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.1.1 (2020-05-19b2)
      Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.23

      And if i run "Diagnostic" it recognises the duex;

      M122
      === Diagnostics ===
      RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet version 3.1.1 running on Duet WiFi 1.02 or later + DueX5

      Can anybody with a Duet2Wifi + Duex and Duet Web Control 3.1.1 check their?

    • RE: Macro: Execute python script on Rpi

      Thanks for the replys!

      I'd really like it to be completly wireless.

      Does the Macro-functionality support API-calls or anything like that? Or is it just g-code?

      Hey!

      I'd like to be able to execute a python script on an Rpi. The Rpi is not connected to the duet board.

      Any ideas?

    • VIN-sensor movement in DWC

      Hey guys,

      I have a question regarding the VIN-sensor in DWC. While printing the other day i noticed that my VIN-sensor is jumping between 23.8-24.2 on full load. While on idle it sits stable at 24.2.

      Is this something i should be worried about? I've double checked the wiring and even replaced the cables - still the same problem.

      I'm running a printer with Duet2Wifi and Duex5. For powering i'm using a MeanWell RSP 500 (24v). I have a correct wiring with ferrules (shared neg for duet and duex) on 2,5 MMยฒ cable.

      On full load the machine is powering a heater, 6 stepper motors, a ender 3 heated bed (220w), paneldue 5 and some fans.

      Yes, i've got one the heaters available.

      Any recommendations on what can of relay/ssr that would be suitable? Any wiring examples?

    • Control relay for more fans?

      Hey!

      I have a duet 2 wifi and i'm currently using all of the fan-pins. For my BLV MGN Cube i'd like to be able to control four more fans (scrubbers) and i'm thinking a relay/ssr.

      The fans are today connected directly thru the PSU.

      Is there any documentation on how to add a relay for controlling more fans thru the duet web control?

      Thanks!
