RE: Connecting a filabase silicon heater.
What kind of config did you guys use for the filafarm pad termistor?

You’re right, it was cut short inside the sleeve. Thank every one for the pointers. -

Thanks for the info. Just need to figure out the one wire termistor to get going. -
Connecting a filabase silicon heater.
Hi
Im about to rebuild my bed with a filabase bed from filafarm.
Its a 230v silicon pad and it comes with a SSR.
My old was a 24v bed.Do I run same 24v Duet wifi output to control my SSR?
It seems as the termistor in my pad is a single wire 100k termistor, where on the Duet should I connect it?Going to ground my frame and put in a ground breaker too.

RE: MBLA, not getting it right.
All good now with both changes, thank you

RE: MBLA, not getting it right.
That worked but I got a new error
G32
Error: Bed calibration : 4 factor calibration requested but only 3 points provided -
MBLA, not getting it right.
Hi,
I been reading instructions on how to configure manual bed leveling assistant but I cannot get it to work correctly.
I have a carthesian printer and four corner screws to adjust my table.
Can get it to probe using G32 and it does all my four corners but resports back a error:
G32
Error: Number of calibration factors (3) not equal to number of leadscrews (4)
I been trying to figure out how to set this but no luck. Here are my Bed.g lines
G28 ; home
G30 P0 X0 Y0 Z-99999 ; probe near an adjusting screw
G30 P1 X350 Y0 Z-99999 ; probe near an adjusting screw
G30 P2 X350 Y223 Z-99999 ; probe near an adjusting screw
G30 P4 X0 Y223 Z-99999 S3 ; probe near an adjusting screw and report adjustments neededHere is my config.g lines

Whatever fixes the problem is good -
Strange fan problem
Hi,
I Duet wifi and I supply it with 24v
I have a E3D v6 24v setup and corresponding e3D fan for hotend. All has been running great until the fan stopped, I have tested another fan and cables with no luck.
The I took a multimeter and measured voltage on FAN1, it shows 12v.. I have not changed anything.. It should read 24v, right. FAN0 gives 24v..
Can someone explain if Im being stupid or if something changed.. To make it even odder I tested with another Duet Wifi but with same config card.. same result 12 v on FAN1

RE: Carbon fiber under carriage
@Thalios ok thats good feedback, I have no idea so your input is helpfull. May I ask if you have a have a homogeneous board or a weight adjusted one? If you can post a picture it helps.

RE: Carbon fiber under carriage
@Veti I seen that one, its too small because of the pre-drilled holes of the buildplate. Thanks though for the effort to help.

Carbon fiber under carriage
Hi,
I bought a filabase kit 400x400 print bed for my Blackwidow Cartesian printer 400x250.
The new bed is a heavy duty bed and it maybe would better fit for a core XY but the blackwidow is what I have to work with.
Now to the question..
I need to make a complete new undercarriage and it will be supported by two linear rails. The print bed is heavy so acceleration will need to go down and a new undercarriage should be as light as possible.
As I see it I have two options, aluminum plate or carbon fiber. In both cases I see that a plate should be cut with profile/holes to reduce weight.
Will 6 millimeter carbon sheet be as rigid as a 6 mm aluminum sheet or will it flex more...?

Some general questions about, fans and connectors.
Hi,
If the general forum is the wrong place to post this, let me know.
1 Does Duet3d sell extra board connectors?
2 whats the better wire to wire connector for a 3D printer? I have tested a bunch but noone has that spot on fit. Ideally I like to find same as onboard connectors but in male female for wire to wire.. But any high quality with small form factor is ok.3 Radial layer fan, it seems like quality radial fans with low noise is impossible to find.. There is the standard 5 v Chinese and then 12-24v Pabst but not a single radial fan specifically developed for 3d printer with effect and low noise. Or is it out there?

Information on Duet 3 mini
Hi,
Im failing to find any information on the new board under development.
Any pointers to where I can follow the progress on this board and also a link to the board specs would help.
Thx
-
RE: To upgrade or not.
Thx for your input.
I will at wait for the mini, didnt know about it before. -
To upgrade or not.
Hi,
I have a Duet WiFi and was thinking that a Duet 3 would be fun..
What would be the advantage now and for the future to change board?
What would I gain now from an upgrade?
What will I gain for the future?I want WiFi, I dont want a Raspberry, just a simple to maintain printer.
Cost is not my issue so we skip that part.
One thing that hold me back a bit is to change all the configuration from my Duet Wifi to Duet 3. Does the Duet 3 have support in the online configurator?

RE: GT2 high quality belts
Ok I will go for E3D for belts and pullies.. Same source for them make sense.

PSU sizing
Hi
I have a new print board 230 volt that I will change to.
When I remove my old 24v board I guess I can down size my PSU.
How many watt on 24v psu will be enough to drive a hotend, mainboard and steepers?
