Maybe so, but the connections for the extruder heaters are to small.
The design should be sturdy enough so you can tighten them. -
Duet2 Needs some design changes
The connectors for the heaters and input power needs to be changed to something that does work properly.
With only two solder-point per connector, they tend break.
I had to re-solder all of these connectors, and I am thinking of pouring some epoxy and glue them firmly on the board. -
RE: Some strange things with Superslicer and Duet.
@oliof
I found this row in the "Printer Setting Custom G-codes"M107 ; turn off fan {if max_layer_z < max_print_height}G1 Z{z_offset+min(max_layer_z+30, max_print_height)}{endif} ; Move print head up G1 X0 Y200 F3000 ; home X axis
Should it be commented out?

RE: Some strange things with Superslicer and Duet.
@phaedrux Yes
JusterRatt_0.15mm_PLA_MK2.5_1h25m.gcode
And the STL
JusterRatt.stlWhy cant I upload it as a ZIP-file?

RE: Some strange things with Superslicer and Duet.
@phaedrux No supports, just two whels for the bed adustment, 20mm in dia and 4 mm high.
It was finished after som 26 layers or so. -
RE: Setting up Slicer, G80-command
@phaedrux RepRap is selected, double checked this, apperantly it is supported in standard RepRap, Duetversion of RepRap is not an option, just standard RepRap

Some strange things with Superslicer and Duet.
Slized a small thing 20x4mm approx (according to superslicer)
Sliced in Superslicer.Now in the Web UI it reports 226 layers and oject height of 33,95 mm, as you can se in the screencap.
Now where does this information come from, because it must be wrong.
Is it the Duet that mis-interprets something or is it the slicer that does something -
RE: How do I use the BL-Touch When homing Z-axis
@phaedrux Yes, I know all that, however my question was not answer in those documents.

RE: Setting up Slicer, G80-command
@tomasl Never mind, found it in the filiament section and commented it out.

RE: Setting up Slicer, G80-command
@tomasl
Now in generated G-code I get the following unsupported commandsM900 K0.05 ; Filament gcode LA 1.5 M900 K30 ; Filament gcode LA 1.0

RE: Setting up Slicer, G80-command
@jay_s_uk
Yes I thought so, so the G29 command is not required in the start-up code -
RE: Setting up Slicer, G80-command
@jay_s_uk
Do one need to run a complete mesh compensation before every job. -
Setting up Slicer, G80-command
Setting up superslicer, in the intro g-code there is an G80 command for mesh leveling, but it is not supported afaik.
THe start code looks like this
Using Duet2WiFi
Prusa Steel with Hermera DirectdriveM862.3 P "[printer_model]" ; printer model check M862.1 P[nozzle_diameter] ; nozzle diameter check M115 U3.10.1 ; tell printer latest fw version G90 ; use absolute coordinates M83 ; extruder relative mode M104 S{first_layer_temperature+extruder_temperature_offset} ; set extruder temp M140 S[first_layer_bed_temperature] ; set bed temp M190 S[first_layer_bed_temperature] ; wait for bed temp M109 S{first_layer_temperature+extruder_temperature_offset} ; wait for extruder temp G28 W ; home all without mesh bed level G80 ; mesh bed leveling G1 Z0.2 F720 G1 Y-3 F1000 ; go outside print area G92 E0 G1 X60 E9 F1000 ; intro line G1 X100 E12.5 F1000 ; intro line G92 E0
What should be omitted and what should be added.

RE: How do I use the BL-Touch When homing Z-axis
@jay_s_uk
Ok, I have put in homeall.g and homez.gG1 X33,5 Y82,5 F6000 G30
However Z-level is the same as the trigger height, is that correct?
-
RE: How do I use the BL-Touch When homing Z-axis
@jay_s_uk
Ok, so I,ll put this in the config.g, presumably at the end.
So it would readG1 X33,5 Y82,5 Z5 G30
If I do this via the console, Z stops att 2,43 (+5mm) I do assume that the X-axis is lifted 5 mm after the g30 command.

RE: How do I use the BL-Touch When homing Z-axis
@jay_s_uk
Well, that whas what RRF put in the config.g
So, How do I use the G30 code? -
How do I use the BL-Touch When homing Z-axis
Well as it says in the title
Tried to put M574 Z1 S2 , it did not work, it crached hard into the bed.Board: Duet 2 WiFi (2WiFi)
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.4.1 (2022-06-01)
Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.26BL Touch config is:
;BL-Touch M307 H3 A-1 C-1 D-1 M950 S0 C"exp.heater3" ; create servo pin 0 for BLTouch M558 P9 C"^zprobe.in" H5 F120 T6000 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds G31 P500 X64 Y0 Z2.46 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height

RE: M500 does not seem to save parameters
@tecno Yes I read the documentation, then I was instructed on another forum that I need to do an M500 command, obviously that was not correct.
