      Hi,

Just updated to the new DWC.
Webcam URL was missing, so i added that.

Now, there is a problem with the update interval. DWC doesn´t store a changed value. i change it to 1000ms and swap to the webcam. the image is updated every 5 seconds. so i jump back to "user interface" and the update interval is set to 5000ms.

      any idea?

      Thanks!!

      Problem solved after instaling RC3!

    • Retract question.

      Hi there,

Got a nice Hemera and tried to get the retract settings for TPU right.

Made some test, but no matter what, it´s stringing and blobbing.

i created a retract test part, sliced it with prusaslicer and added after 10mm commands like M207 S or F

I didn´t noticed any difference, so i searched the problem and found it.

In prusaslicer, retract is set to 40mm/s and 0.5mm retract.

When i do a single "M207" before starting a print, i get the following:

      M207
      Retraction/un-retraction settings: length 2.00/2.00mm, speed 1000/1000mm/min, Z hop 0.00mm

Then i start the print and typing again M207, the console answers this:

      M207
      Retraction/un-retraction settings: length 2.00/2.00mm, speed 1000/1000mm/min, Z hop 0.00mm

Where gets the duet2 these settings for retract?!?

      i got it.
I just added "M109 S[first_layer_temperature]" to the start code.

I couldn't imagine doing it like that.

    • RE: Problems with prusaslicer 2.3

i think i got the problem.

M190 S120 ; set bed temperature and wait for it to be reached
      M104 S255 ; set temperature
      ;TYPE:Custom
      T0 ; Sets Tool0 as default
      M106 P0 S0 ; Stop Part Cooling Fan
      G28 ; home all axes
      G91 ; relative mode
      G1 E52 F300 ; Fill Nozzle
      G90 ; absolute Mode
M109 S255 ; set temperature and wait for it to be reached
G21 ; set units to millimeters

with that gcode, the error message is gone, but there is an advice. "tried to extrude, but the extruder is not at temperature"

it wants to prime the nozzle BEFORE M109 S255.
This command appears after the start code and seems to be written by prusaslicer. Now, i don´t know how to change the order.

@Torro said in Problems with prusaslicer 2.3:

Error: Attempting to extrude with no tool selected

      No, i didn´t. but it´s a good idea 😉

I added "T0 ; Sets Tool0 as default" to the start code in the slicer. the last lines in my config.g are here:
      ; Tools
      M563 P0 D0 H1 ; Define tool 0
      G10 P0 X0 Y0 Z0 ; Set tool 0 axis offsets
      G10 P0 R0 S0 ; Set initial tool 0 active and standby temperatures to 0C

I still get this error message. With gcodes created by S3D, there are no error messages, so i think, that config.g should be ok.

      Thanks!!

    • Problems with prusaslicer 2.3

      Hi there,

I´m playing with the prusslicer 2.3

when i start a gcode, the heaters heat up and the printer homes. than there is this error:

"Error: Attempting to extrude with no tool selected."

      The printer starts printing anyway.

I changed the "gcode flavour" from reprapfirmware to reprap/sprinter. with reprapfirmware, the hotend didn´t heat up.

Here are the first lines of the gcode:

      M107
M190 S120 ; set bed temperature and wait for it to be reached
      M104 S255 ; set temperature
      ;TYPE:Custom
      M106 P0 S0 ; Stop Part Cooling Fan
      G28 ; home all axes
      G91 ; relative mode
      G1 E52 F300 ; Fill Nozzle
      G90 ; absolute Mode
M109 S255 ; set temperature and wait for it to be reached
G21 ; set units to millimeters
      G90 ; use absolute coordinates
M82 ; use absolute distances for extrusion
      G92 E0

Has anyone an idea, how i get rid of this error message?

      Thanks!

    • RE: Automatic shutdown without ATX

I did that with a ssr relay. Connected to the ps_on Pins from duet and a push Button.

Ps_on pin from duet is Connected to the ssr minus.

In the end Script from the slicer, i added
      M81 S1.

    • RE: Mesh bed Levelling with BLTouch. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried bed leveling with different probes, ir probe and bltouch.

My Problem was different trigger heights at different locations on the bed with both probes.

Check that. Trigger height should be the same, no matter where you probe on the bed.

I think the printhead is somehow twisting.

      Good luck!
