@tmicke In addition to @Phaedrux 's answer, if you use a mixing hot end, then firmware retraction will retract all filaments whereas slicer retraction will only retract filaments associated with the current tool. This means that filament can be drawn from other inputs rather than the nozzle. So firmware retraction is a must for hot ends which have multiple inputs.

just out of curiosity. this is meant in no way as an attack or anything.
if i put in the error message that you typed google gives several threads on this forum with the same solution. adding the T0.
before posting did you even google for the error message?

Fair Question ... but like the OP - I came here first and tried several searches of this forum using its search tool. I had to wade thru 4-5 deep complicated threads before giving it one more search and scroll thru more and more pages of posts not related to my issue before I came across a post with my same error and Prusa Slicer 2.3 - wouldnt have put the issue on Slicer initially - but yet - here it is.

Its a combo of 3.2+ rrf AND PS 2.3 start gcode incompatibilities

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop ? How many searches thru the Duet forum is enough before one posts a new thread ?

Thanks for posting the solution for the rest of us plebs.... gracias.

SD write speed for 200.0Mbyte file was 1.77MBytes/sec

      nearly 2 minutes

That's still a lot better than 400kb/sec. So it's not the SD card that's throttling it, it's the browser+operating system or the network.

      Try changing M98 Phomez.g to G28 Z

Same behaviour. I just put the m98 phomez. G in the first line of homeall.g

      Now it works as expected

this seems more like issue you have to resolve because if your probe is malfunctioning it's better to just ditch it and get something else to probe.

Thanks! A wifi range extender did the Job. Signal strength before - 77, now - 36.

But the fix IP changed... Don't know why, but as long as i know the IP, it's ok...

That will be because the IP address assigned by the router is associated with the MAC address, and it's probably seeing the MAC address of the range extender instead of the MAC address of the Duet.

@torro said in getting started, with shut off...:

After the heater tuning, i got a message. Heater overpowered or something similar. Should i decrease the pwm?

That message is very common, especially since E3D started shipping silicone socks with their hot ends. Reducing the PWM won't make it significantly safer.
