      You could still use pause at height plugin and find and replace the M226 with notepad++

      Curious if it has a custom gcode option under method dropdown?

      @dc42 I selected r1. 3 because I may change to the hemera xs knowing the mount spacing is different. I have already added the new mounting holes to my bracket. The grounding through the mounting is also a bonus. I'll have to modify the wiring connections either way.

      @wifibeagle
      Reprinted a part that required the G4 delay after deleting that command. No problems with the print. It appears 3.4.1 may have cured the problem even if it has not completely solved the mystery.

      I can live with that!

      @gloomyandy

      I should have noticed the difference in the C parameters. I guess I focused too much on the R parameter. The part cooling fan is always off during initial heating which is where the fault occurs. I have made some modifications to the part fan nozzle so I should have redone the auto tune. I will watch carefully to insure the part fan comes on during the tune.

      Thanks for the suggestions.

      @wifibeagle that can easily be incorporated though as endstops can be changed to triggers at the beginning of a job.
      Or you can permanently have them set up as triggers and change them to endstops at the start of the homing sequence and then put them back as triggers

      @wifibeagle said in Duet 3 & Pi Power Wiring:

      I plan to power the Pi and a display from the Duet.

      Be cautious with this. It looks like you're using a Pi3b which may be ok provided the draw from the display is also low, but there have been some issues with the Pi4 which draws more power. Using a separate supply for the pi+peripheral side may prove more reliable.

      @wifibeagle YEPPERS!
      With the extruder offloaded, I have my triple Z and X/Y and still room for one more motor on the base board.
      And TONS of I/O triggers for just about anything you can imagine. I LOVE the flexibility of the Duet3. Buy it and the toolboard, you will not regret it!
