I don't know if it matters for your application but you may be able to reduce that time with a bit of experimentation.

Oh, it was not in the same subnet indeed.

I changed the IP of the board as follows:

M552 S0 Network stopped ok M552 S1 P169.254.163.66 ok Ethernet running, IP address = 169.254.163.66 M552 Ethernet is enabled, configured IP address: 169.254.163.66, actual IP address: 169.254.163.66 ok

and now it works:

It is actually now working after using a different USB cable (the one provided by Duet3D actually...). Sorry for the noise. Still putting my screenshots here for the record now that it's working:

At 1 amp you'll be fine with some vent holes.
