hello i have a question about my duet 2 wifi.

well after a while I didn't use my printer ender 3 pro anymore with a duet 2 wifi board.

well I wanted to print an x again but now print that maximum but with 8mm / s have already updated the firmware also on newly configured but nothing help.

      can someone help maybe.

      this is terrible

when I start the printer and click on homing, everything still works perfectly in terms of speed.
even if I operate the printer manually, there is still nothing going on until I put a file in it to print, then it suddenly becomes very slow.
then print it with 8mms and wait for a few seconds after each line before it continues

hey @hannes0913 please can you share the gcode file you are trying to print.

Also what slicer are you using?

this is usually the case when the slicer talks about speeds to the printer in Marlin units which is mm/sec on most settings, whereas RepRapFirmware sets limits in mm/min.

Especially if you use Cura, try disabling Acceleration Control and see if that improves speeds. Similar on PrusaSlicer if you set the GCode flavor to Marlin and set speeds in the additonal settings page that comes up onlz when you do that.

Your jerk is really low. I would multiply that by at least 60. Don't for get it's in mm/min

@hannes0913 said in Slow printing whit duet2 wifi on ender 3 pro:

                              M203 X500.00 Y500.00 Z10.00 E50.00 ;Setup machine max feedrate

                              that is in mm/min

500mm/sec is 8.3 mm/sec. that is really slow

are you sure that you set the flavor to reprap in cura?

@Veti If you are running a recent version of Cura it comes with a pre-configured set of profiles for the Ender 3. I had the same problem. I assume that your speed settings shown above are in the Cura start.g. Go to start.g and comment out M201,M203,M204,M205,M220 and M221. The next print you slice will print at the speeds set up in RRF.
