    Hi Community,

    i have a strange problem. With a standard setting of mine with a duet wifi and DUEX 2, I get the error message:

    Error: short-to-ground reported by driver (s) 7 8 9
    Error: over temperature shutdown reported by driver (s) 7 8 9

    but since it is a DUEX 2, these drivers are not available.
    How can this error message come about?

    The firmware is also stable at 2.05.1

    short to ground .jpg

    here the wiring:

    IMG_20201109_183158.jpg

    The Duex is also supplied with 24V.

    The Setup works normally, everything works! There ist just the error-message...

    Thank you in advance
    Christian (CR-3D)

          try adding

          M569 P7 R-1
          M569 P8 R-1
          M569 P9 R-1

          however i would suggest that you update to 3.1.1

          M350 X16 Y16:16 Z16:16:16 E16 I1 ; Configure microstepping with interpolation

          M92 X80 Y80:80 Z1600:1600:1600 E409 ; Set steps per mm

          M566 X400 Y400:400 Z50:50:50 E500 ; Set maximum instantaneous speed changes (mm/min)

          M203 X50000 Y50000:50000 Z800:800:800 E12000; Set maximum speeds (mm/min)

          M201 X900 Y900:900 Z1000:1000:1000 E1200; Set accelerations (mm/s^2)

          you can only define multiple values for E not Y and Z
          these should be removed

            Looks like it is showing as a Duex5 instead of a Duex2?

              @Veti said in Duet-Wifi + Duex2 - short-to-ground reported by driver(s) 7 8 9:

              M569 P7 R-1
              M569 P8 R-1
              M569 P9 R-1

              I tested this and it works! Thank you! πŸ™‚

              I also changed the multiple settings for the Y and Z axis, this was no problem till yet -> but it is better to make it clean πŸ™‚

              @sebkritikel
              You are right too! There is a DueX5 listet... I donΒ΄t know why ...

                Is this a new Duex2? When and where did you purchase it? It showing up as a duex5 is odd.

                Can you try reflashing your firmware? Staying with 2.05.1 is fine.

                  @CR3D I've been told this is likely caused by a bad connection underneath the SX1509b chip, which would certainly qualify for a warranty replacement.
