        @roberto then you will need to readjust the z offset for your probe.

          @oliof I put M208. It refuses to go lower than Z-0.5mm. I don't understand why?

              @roberto Set Z minimum to -1 or -4 for adjustment. But be careful to not break your mechanics.

                @oliof Once I get to -0.5, the engines don't run anymore when I ask it to go to -1

                  @roberto Do I have to raise the plate manually?

                    @roberto when you adjust the Z axis parameter, it should move via GCode, provided it's mechanically possible.

                      @oliof I move the Z axis with the dashboard move command.
                      But, at Z-0.5mm, the motors don't respond anymore?
                      And the plate does not go up anymore. When I manually put the bed against the head, once I do the Z home, the bed goes back too far from the head. And even when I lower manually the tray voluntarily too much. I make the Zhome and again it comes to put itself with the same spacing with the head

                        @roberto he writes:

                          Can you share your config.g and homeall.g and homez.g files as well as what firmware version you're using?

                          @oliof said in Z setting ??:

                          provided it's mechanically possible.

                          @Roberto Can the bed physically move higher or is it hitting an endstop or part of the frame preventing it from getting closer to the nozzle?

                            @phaedrux Hello,
                            I did some more tests.When I do the homes, I can't get it to go lower than -0.5. But with the baby stepping, I can get the tray up to the nozzel.
                            I go into the config and make the change.
                            Then when I do the homes, the plate goes back too low and again from -0.5 I can't make it go up.
                            Here are the settings.
                            I think that it is the BL-Touch that is out of adjustment.
                            How can I recalibrate the BL-Touch?
                            Thanks for the help.

                              Yes it sounds like you need to re-measure your bltouch offset and or ensure it's mounted in the right height.

                                @phaedrux Ok! I will check the calibration of the BLTouch.
                                Thanks for the info.
