@fcwilt I just verified that with the z-endstop pushed down, M119 is reporting the same information as above.

@fcwilt I just ran M119 again, it's reporting: X not stopped, Y not stopped, Z at min stop, Z probe not stopped.

OK let's leave Z for now and test X and Y.

@fcwilt I'm going to test the X endstop, and then the Y endstop. Please wait for my report.

@fcwilt okay, here are the results: with X endstop pressed down, M119 reports X at min stop. With Y endstop pressed down, M119 reports Y at min stop.

Interestingly, M119 continues to report Z at min stop even though I'm NOT pressing it down?

                  @fcwilt are the S0 and S1 reversed?

                    No they are correct.

But, just FYI, there is a simpler form of M208 (at least I think it is simpler)

                    M208 X0:220 Y0:220 Z0:240

                    Notice no S0 or S1.

The number before the : character is the min value for the axis specified by the letter.

The number after the : character is the max value for the axis specified by the letter.

I find it easier to remember "min then max" rather then "is it S0 or S1".

                    That's just me.

@fcwilt for a moment I was confused as to where the 0 was, i.e., the number before the "colon" is . . . .

                      But I figured it out!

We are still need to test the X and Y endstop switches to see what M119 reports when a switch is pressed or not pressed.

@fcwilt with X depressed, X is at min stop, everything else is as it has been.

With Y depressed, Y is at min stop, everything else is as it has been.

                                  Fantastic.

So we know the X and Y endstop are working.

But the Z is not. It should do the same as the X and Y.

Please do this - from the DWC console execute M574 by itself - it should report how each endstop is configured.

                                        Endstop configuration:
X: low end switch connected to pin !io5.in
Y: low end switch connected to pin !io6.in
Z: low end switch connected to pin io2.in

Great. You getting the hang of this, aren't you!

So it says the Z endstop is configured on the low end, is connected to io2.in and does not have the ! character because the white wire is connected to the NO connection on the switch.

But it seems that pressing or not pressing the Z endstop switch doesn't change what M119 reports.

Did you verify that the Z endstop switch is still plugged onto the IO2 connector?
