Is it possible to specify no magnets?

Technically, yes, but if you don't need the magnet couldn't you use it for something else? Otherwise you would be paying for something you're not receiving.

Is 310mm the limit in size?

I'm looking for one around 460mm square, 450mm minimum.

The size limit is stated on the Kickstarter. We also have a FAQ section over there as to the current limitations. The future is bright however for making any size if the Kickstarter is successfully funded.

            Thank you!

We have just published an update to the Kickstarter. We are now offering flex-plates without the magnet based off of feedback.

Doug, we can make any size in the future if the campaign is funded. To make sizes greater than 310mm requires the purchase of 10 tons of steel in larger widths, as that is the minimum order quantity unfortunately.

@klcjr89 Yeah I can see why that would be prohibitive. Have seen your comments on the discord as well (I'm lil doug on there)

Update: we are now offering sizes up to 350mm and have lowered the costs of rewards! We have streamlined the reward tiers to make it less cluttered. You can also buy just a flex-plate now, whereas before we required the purchase of two at a time. ☺

I already have a flexible bed system available for duplicator 3i, ender 3 and cr10. The magnetic sheet can be cut to size to suit and any printer with a bed size up 310mm x 310mm and i will customise the flexible steel top to suit other printer requirements if required. It does not have a PEI sheet but these can be purchased separately, along with other bed materials to suit your requirement.

SpatialOne custom delta printer, upgrading to print PEEK, PEKK & Ultem

No criticising the product in any way but looking at the video in the first post, that first layer was being printed soooo slowly compared to what I'm used to. Is that normal for PEI? What sort of speeds do you guys print your first layers at?

There is a shot in the video that shows this, but I'll try to get a still image.

Ahh OK. But can you or anyone else answer my second question. i.e. what sort of first layer speed is reasonable when using PEI?

Like I said, this is on no way any sort of criticism of the product - just wondering that's all.
