    I think I'm fairly bright....have the Duet WiFi humming along on an FT5 producing great prints, but WiFi network stuff is totally greek to me.
    Recently moved the printer to a remote garage (100 m away from home wifi router) and set up a Linksys CPE 210 system (see diagram).
    When I attempt to connect the Duet to SHOP2 (the strongest signal), it connects instead to SHOP, a weak signal from the distant Linksys unit.
    I'm confused that each unit....the router and both Linksys units have the same IPv4, even with different SSID's.
    How do I get the Duet to connect to the strong signal on SHOP2?
    Do I need to make changes in the network setup, or is it all Duet WiFi settings?
    Thank you.

      @DanL I think to ensure that it only connects to the SHOP2 network, you need to send M588 to disconnect from the original network it was connected to (in this case SHOP).

      M588: Forget WiFi host network
      M558 S"ccc" Network SSID to remove from the remembered list

          The Duet should connect to the strongest known network that it finds. Are you certain that you have entered the details of the SHOP2 network correctly using M587? Send M587 without parameters to get the list of known networks.

          As @Red-Sand-Robot says, you can tell the Duet to forget the SHOP network if that helps; but it should connect to SHOP2 anyway if it is stronger and you have entered the SSID correctly.

            @dc42 @Red-Sand-Robot
            THANK YOU!
            Had to enter lower case pword letters with preceding single quote. That got Duet connected to SHOP2.
            But I tried everything and cannot get SHOP off the remembered list. That's OK though, as long as Duet connects to SHOP2.

              @danl if you enter M588 S"*", it should delete all known networks, then only add shop2 and you should be good to go.

                  @danl, M588 S"SHOP" should be all you need to send, if the original access point is called exactly SHOP.

                    @dc42
                    Right. I entered exactly M588 S"SHOP" using YAT, to no effect.
                    I want to keep DANL2.4 and SHOP2.

                    This is how SHOP is reported from M588:
                    Remembered networks:<LF>T********** IP=xxx.xxx.x.xx GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>DANL2.4 IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>SHOP IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>SHOP2 IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0<LF>ok<LF>

                    All is working fine now on SHOP2. Pesky SHOP......
                    Thank you.

                      Are you using DuetWiFiServer version 1.23? If so then I'll re-test this.

                      You will get clearer responses in YAT if you go into Settings -> Text Settings and change the line ending to LF only.

                        Should I go to 1.23? ...this is all foreign to me...

                                Though you should be able to upload the entire zip file to the DWC settings page and it will update everything as needed.

                                      Both are available at the first link.

                                      But you can just download the zip file from the second link and upload that to get everything at once.

                                        Yep...just before your response the lightbulb went on. I was trying to upload the unzipped folder. In retrospect, this stuff seems straightforward, but the first time through is a bear.
                                        Loaded the full zipped folder and it loaded fine.
                                        Are differences summarized somewhere please?
