Have you checked with a local reseller to see if they have stock available?

@Phaedrux yes I had an order with filastruder but the sensors were holding up my order. Filastruder said there is no ETA.

Due to Covid-19 our expected supply of injection moulded improved housings has been held up. We're working on getting some SLA printed as a stopgap.

@dc42 i have waited to get a sensor since you guys closed down shipping. There is not a European reseller having the sensor in stock. Which European resellers will receive sensors when you fix a replacement housing?

Hi @Alucardi sorry you have had to wait so long. we decided to change from 3dprinted housings to injection moulded housings and our supplier has been hit with various issues that has delayed this project greatly. If you are in a position to print your own housing accurately (I successfully printed them on a well tuned FDM printer at 0.2mm layer height) then drop me an email (info@duet3d.com) and I will send the components other than the housing.

@T3P3Tony i guess if I did fail (don’t think I will) would I be able to buy a housing when the new kit go on sale? Fin can there is nothing to lose buying all but the housing now.

I've been waiting on my pending order from Filastruder for months. If SLS-printed parts will be provided as a stopgap, is there some kind of timeline for this?

Is there an update to this? I've been checking off and on for the past several months and no one has any of these. Apparently anywhere in the world. Are they discontinued? looks like I can get the laser based sensor but reading around I'd rather have the magnetic version. I definitely need something to track the movement, and not just the presence of the filament. I've had quite a few issues where the filament is no longer advancing and if I had a sensor to track it I could have saved several prints I believe. Is the sensor still available without the housing? If it had the gears and bearings I'd be open to printing the casing myself.

@cdthomas9 I was able to purchase the components, including the hobs, without the housing. That's still available from a few sellers, though you have to ask them directly about it because they don't list it that way. I bought mine from right here, was sent an invoice from Duet3D that I paid with PayPal, and I had the package within a week or so.

I got parts for two from Filastruder, but I believe I got the last two.

I agree that you should contact everyone who sells them and see if they have a kit of parts around.

Duet3D just got sample housings in and are testing them.

Are there any more updates on when this will be available?
