@wijkhuisen How did that work out.
thinking of doing the same thing -
RE: height map off set to negative ?
@Adamfilip
what do you mean make that area 0? how?did you just edit heghtmap.csv and correct the numbers?

RE: height map off set to negative ?
Z is typical ender 5 plus config nothing really changed there.
its 2mm pitch 4mm lead
10mm linear rods all lubed with synthetic lube
z is pretty smoothdriven by two steppers 0.8A 1.8 degree
here's my bed config
; bed.g
; called to perform automatic bed compensation via G32

M561 ; clear any bed transform
G29 ; probe the bed and enable compensationso the way do it is
home all use 0.1 mm spacer to to get nozzle down to bed.
and repeat all this few times around all corners and centerthan I run G31 S-1 few times to get average number for G31
after that I run G29

RE: height map off set to negative ?
so before I tear down and re check all the bearings and stuff " all new but we all know there's always chance "
here's what map looks like not perfect but.....
this is the front of the bed between 275 & 300
this one is the back between 50 and 75
Thank You

@Phaedrux
Thank you
so I'm going to lean towards mechanical stuff . because its doing exactly the same thing as it did beforemy starting gcode loads G29 S1 - assuming it should compensate

Thank You for that
so I got that changed

height map off set to negative ?
hi guys I'm stuck. - running 3.4.4 duet 2 wifi - " printer Ender 5 plus "
was fine till I did exoslide upgrade and exoslide hotend.
pretty much moved my bltouch offset and stuff .
so I started from scratch
G31 P25 X-41 Y9.44 Z2.121
M557 X-41:280 Y20:340 S38also added homeall because it wasn't compensating
M558 F500 A1 ; probe once quickly
G30
M558 F120 A10 ; detailed probe
G30so this is latest G29
anyway no matter what the height map looks like - it'll print way to close to bed at the front of the bed
if I understand correct compensation happens when numbers bit negative ? if so how do I adjust for the map to be bit below the grid ?

Just realized my runout sensor stopped working after upgrade to 3.3M591 D0
Extruder 0 has no filament sensorthis is what I have in custom settings
; Custom settings
M591 D0 P2 C3 S1 ; Filament Run out sensorso I replaced that with M591 D0 P2 C"e0_stop" S1
M591 D0
Simple filament sensor on pin e0stop, enabled, output high when no filament, filament present: no
M591 D0
Simple filament sensor on pin e0stop, enabled, output high when no filament, filament present: yesit resolved - but temp shuts off when filament out
how do I tell it to keep bed temp on? -
RE: Duet 2 maestro Upgrade Heightmap issues
@dc42 after I asked the question I went to ready more and yah one day I learn how to read .. lol
I missed Upgrading ANY Duet 2 from 2.x to 3.0 or later requires installing 3.0 first.
anyway that did it . thank you for replying
I'm going to re do cable management-(have feeling it might have enough tension to do weird stuff and carriage and check bearings on my exoslids -

but why does it still say Board: Duet Maestro 1.0 (duetmaestro100)
Firmware: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 Maestro 2.04 (2019-11-01b1) I thought it was 3.3?also
my map looks all kind of weird not sure how to fix it checked belts doesn't bad

RE: Ender 3 Pro driving past end stops after stopping
I think I found my mistake .
M574 X2 S1 P"xstop"
M574 Y2 S1 P"ystop"had X&Y set to 1
changed it to 2 helped -
RE: Ender 3 Pro driving past end stops after stopping
@fcwilt Thanks that did help . but when it hits limit switch my x & y set to 0
when I tell it to move it right I guess - away from limit switch it stays there but + it'll try driving disregarding limit switch

Ender 3 Pro driving past end stops after stopping
Morning all.
so I converted my ender 3 to duet it all went well (I though) till I added exoslid and New extruder discovered my x going backwords. changed that M569 P0 S0
now I can't figure out why my end stops, stop machine but will drive past it .; Configuration file for Duet WiFi (firmware version 3)

RE: Bed Mesh Skipping grid
@stephen6309 M557 X-25:320 Y10:320 S50 this works
I figured i'll do smaller squares or more probes
-
RE: Bed Mesh Skipping grid
@stephen6309 had to make smaller . else it'll probe outside bed
-
RE: Bed Mesh Skipping grid
@phaedrux said in Bed Mesh Skipping grid:
based on your config the endstops are at the low end, so the left side for x and the front for y. Is that correct?
When the x and y endstops are triggered the nozzle should be at 0,0 just at the corner of the bed based on your config. Is that correct?when end stops triggered the hotend up right corner
