@dc42! Thank you for uploading the Sammy Firmware. It was an easy install and it seems to be working.
BTW, it is not part of the ZIP files in the repository, you have to get it manually. Thank you again for everything you do here!!!
Your temperature only shows as 100. The default minimum extrusion temp is 160.
From the link above:
The minimum temperatures for extrusion can be set using the Snnn parameter with a default value of 160°C if unset. A minimum retraction temperature can be set with the Rnnn parameter. The default for this is 90°C.
You are right; it is definitely related to something in the Pi.
I have a few of them... 2's 3's and 4's. I had been using a Pi 3 B+ as the SBC, mainly because it appears to have been used in it's development. So yesterday, just for grins, I pulled the Pi 3 and install a Pi 4 (4GB) in its place.
I finally got back to the Railcore RRF3x issue and ended up pulling my boards... @Phaedrux mentioned the Duet WiFi was a cloned board... and I think that was the problem. I put in a genuine Duet board I had on hand it is has been working without a hitch. It is POSSIBLE that the very act of the board R&R corrected a wiring issue (intermittent connection) or the like... sometimes it is hard to tell if things are terminated properly. Overall a great learning... nothing gets me from rote knowledge to understanding faster than solving challenging problems - cheers.
