I've put new 3.6.0-rc.2+1 binaries at https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/kj7gwwzxg5lhe26twph5z/AAdwkPCTYi6bcogLmIIIup4?rlkey=8oo6z5il7wzk2u5b7qpykf3qv&dl=0. @rero You can find build instructions for DSF here: https://github.com/Duet3D/DuetSoftwareFramework/wiki/Build-Instructions

I just checked the build process and both DSF 3.5 and 3.6 build fine on my Windows and Linux setups. Unless you intend to make further changes in DSF, you don't need to build it, though. For the API bindings, it should suffice to pull in the dependencies from NuGet (DuetAPIClient). There are beta/rc packages available, too.

For those testing beta 3 there are now beta3+1 builds of the main board firmwares at https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/bx70c7u0bshq79ez83mnn/AKMj4UCEimtQuGYxRj_d0ew?rlkey=7yiq3x5fcae3v2ogslfocx1op&dl=0. The most important bugs fixed in this version are:

Duet 2 Ethernet only: network connection was unreliable
Duet 3 6XD only: at high step rates the minimum interval between steps was not honoured, leading to steps merging

See https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/wiki/Changelog-RRF-3.x-Beta#reprapfirmware-360-rc1-in-preparation-changes-since-360-beta3 for other fixes and changes.

@NikA @resam I already identified and fixed this problem a while ago. A bug fix will be part of the next beta.

@jay_s_uk said in DuetPi Bookworm builds featuring v3.5.1 stable now available:

@achrn or use M997... Note the lack of S2

Yes, I had cause to roll back to 3.4.2, so then came back back to 3.5.1 and M997 (no S2) (followed by M997 B121 for the toolboard and M999) worked fine. Thanks.

We are in the process of releasing software 3.5.1 which has a fix for this issue. The standalone files have already been released and the package server is in the process of being updated. We'll make an announcement when the release is complete.

@chrishamm FWIW, working fine on my RailCore with PA and IS. Printed 10-15 hours so far. Heightmap when skipping points still looks funny :).

      Edit: I'm running standalone mode.

      @chrishamm Love it!

Two things I'd like to be improved:

The configurator looks a bit cluttered and dense, I think it would be more readable with more whitespace between the individual sections

Currently it's not possible to set mixxing ratios for a tool with more than one extruder

@jens55 3.4.6 contains critical bug fixes, not all the (significant) new features of 3.5.

@Marcossf you can also share a zip of the /sys directory and and other macro directories. If that's sensitive information then we can arrange to get it another way

@marcossf I am sorry but I cannot reproduce this problem on my Duet 3 Mini 5+ WiFi. Please make sure you have DuetWiFiSocketServer version 1.27 installed. If that is the case and the issue persists, open a new thread about this problem.

@dk4ya If you mean the firmware hangs when doing IS tuning moves, please check the wiring between the Duet and the LIS3DH again. We've had a report stating that an intermittent connection between the two boards could lead to potential problems but reworking the wiring seemed to fix it for that particular user. If the wiring is OK but the problem persists, please create a new thread.
