Never mind. I just found that polarity in the control wires is irrelevant.
Heater works now.

RE: lerge x mos module
the wire resting on the Duett bed connector is the control wire of the lerge module.

RE: lerge x mos module
It is the above mentioned Lerge Mos module 25 A.

@ediik
I just got around picking up where I left off.
It says in the dozuki :" You can use a solid state relay (SSR) to switch the bed heater by connecting its control terminals to the Duet bed heater terminals. Make sure that you get the wires to the + and - control terminals of the SSR the right way round. "How do I verify which one is positive and is damage possible if I reverse it?
These control wires are very thin.
Thank you -
RE: How to find Z=0 ?
Phrased another way: The bed moves up to make Z get smaller, eventually reaching Z0. Is the switch at the physical top of that movement?
Yes, that's how it is. Sorry about the confusion.

How to find Z=0 ?
Hello Everyone,
I am in the process of replacing a lergeX board with a Duet2 in a Two Trees Sapphire s coreXY.
This is my first printer.
So far it’s homing to all axes except Z because I have a dummy carriage installed.
My next step is to install the carriage with the hot end and find Z=0.
The printer has a mechanical and movable end stop at min height; the bed moves down.
The bed has three adjustable screws to level it.My question is, what is the easiest approach to set Z height properly?
Thank You.

RE: lead screw settings
Thank you bearer for your help and pointing me in the right directions !

RE: lead screw settings
Right on. Z now moves exactly the requested amount.
Thank You!My next step is to mount the carriage with the E3d hot end.
So far I've used a dummy carriage holding a sharpie to simulate it.
I know I have to set the end stop again.
What is a good procedure to get it close to the bed and where should it stop?
All I know is to use the bed level screws to set the distance, but where is the starting point?Cheers

RE: lead screw settings
M350 Z16
So (200*16)/8=400
How do I set this in config?

RE: lead screw settings
Thanks.
I found Usongshine 17HS4401 has 200 steps/rev and 1.8°
I measured 8mm travel per rev.
I couldn't find the micosteps. -
lead screw settings
Hello Everyone,
I've replaced a lerge x board with a duet2 ethernet on a Two Trees sapphire s.
So far I've got all axes homing correctly and the end stops set up.
X and Y moves the right amount but Z moves a lot more than requested.
I can't remember what I've entered in the reprap configurator for Z but I need to figure out how to change it.
As far as I know, I have a T8 leadscrew with 2mm pitch (hard to find the specs for it).
I would like to know how to figure out how to measure correctly and make the changes in the config file.Thank You

Endstop wiring order
Hey Everyone,
I am using the 3 wire end stop switches from my LergeX board, they are labeled C NO NC, but I have no clue how to connect them to the Duet2 to GND, 3V3, STP. I have already tried to connect one, but the board won't start on USB power.
I'll have to re-crimp to the Duet2 connectors since they have different plugs.
Any help appreciated, Thanks.

RE: Duet 3 wiring questions
@dc42
I was confused about that as well. In the wiring diagram it says left to right:
2B, 2A, 1A, 1B so I guess the numbers refer to the phases, not the letters?as in Phase1, Phase1, Phase 2, Phase 2 ?
Thanks.

RE: lerge x mos module
@zapta said in lerge x mos module:
am suggest its control can be driven directly from the bed heater output of a board su
Yes, that's it. Thank you.

RE: lerge x mos module
It looks like it does have a two-wire control connection, but it also uses an adaptor module that ties in the thermistor.

lerge x mos module
Hi all,
I have a duet3d ethernet and am trying to replace a lerge x board in a two trees sapphire s printer.
The lerge has this mos module powered directly by the ps to run the heated bed.
Is it possible to use it in conjunction with the duet3d?Thank You, Patrick
