    • Laser engraving….

Hi everyone, and happy new year.
I'm trying to config my Delta printer for laser engraving. When I send M452 the printer switches in laser mode but it uses FAN 0 to output for laser beam.
How do I change the output to HEATER E1?
I tried the command M452 P2 R255 F200 but nothing happens. It gives me an error: P2 Bad Parameter.
Can anyone tell me how to config the right setting for the laser? Also, where do I put them in config.g?

      This is my config.g :

    • Circle printing…

I would need some help please, when I print for example a 20x20 cube everything's fine but when I print a round piece, tube etc… it's quite small.
For example I printed a 6mm diameter tube and when it finished printing I measured with the caliber and the result was 0.5mm smaller.
      Why?
My printer is a Delta, with DUET WIFI, smart effector and magnetic rod.
      Thanks in advance

    • RE: Z height

I've solved it. I made an autocalibration with a piece of paper folded three times. Weird, but it solved the problem. Now the height is correct and it prints well.

    • RE: Z height

I set the trigger height(Z-0.447), yet it doesn't change anything. When I start printing, Z height is still too low; I need to use baby step to raise Z to 0.35 to get optimal prints.

    • Z height

      Hi everyone,

I have a Delta printer with DuetWiFi and Smart Effector, when I print the nozzle is too close to the bed. I have to use the baby step to reach the optimal Z height.
Even if I do autocalibration, when I print the Z height is too close to the bed. What's the parameter I need to modify to adjust Z height?

    • Extruder goes too fast sometimes with Cura and other slicing sw….

      Hi everyone.
I modified a 3d printer FLSUN all-metal; I mounted the DUET WIFI, smart effector and a magnetic rod.
When I start printing my extruder filament goes very fast.
I use Cura 2.5 for slicing.
I've copied the settings from the original Marlin firmware FLSUN but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong; do I also need to put M83 in start gcode?
All the other settings work well, there are some STL files that work well for the extruder. I can't understand why with Cura my extruder sometimes doesn't work properly.
      Thanks.

      Ciao a tutti,

Ho modificato una Flsun All Metal,ho montato Duet Wifi,Smart Effector, carbon fiber magnetic rod.

      Grazie.
