I have a mosquito hot end with the high temp thermistor and I have it all set up but it is reading 10° higher than room temp I check it with a multimeter and it is fine.

RE: Duet 3 motor wiring?
@infiniteloop its all good. i checked it just to make sure i had my steps right
-
RE: Duet 3 motor wiring?
@infiniteloop i set it to 6400 and it is very wrong
-
RE: Duet 3 motor wiring?
so i plugged in a different motor and the problem went away. all is working
-
RE: Duet 3 motor wiring?
its 400 steps i know that one side works fine the the other skips steps

RE: Duet 3 motor wiring?
i got the wiring figured out i have 3 different motor all have different pinouts. just need to figure out how to get the dual z axis to work. im not sure if i have the steps set right for the second z motor.

RE: Duet 3 motor wiring?
i switched them and i get "short-to-ground reported by driver(s) 3" using motors from a cr-10s5 and 2 motors are from amazon. also went from duet wifi to duet 3.

RE: heater fault when print starts
ok i have found my problem. i went through checking all of my wires and found one that i was getting it and miss reading from the hot end and it has a part of the wire severed in side if the wire covering. so i got it fixed and now it is working good.

RE: heater fault when print starts
@Veti sorry i checked the thermistor not the heater cartage. i ended up taking it a part and found out the heater cartage lead broke so i replaced it and it still dose the same thing. i checked the new one and its is at 5.4 and i checked the wires. testing now. tested it and it still drops i also did a auto tune for the new cartage
