    • Selling a few Duet3D boards

I've got the following Dued3D boards that I'm no longer needing and would like sell them:

      • 1x - Duet 3 6HC : $150 - This board has never been used. I purchased it for a Voron build but ended up not using it. This price includes the 1LC tool board.
      • 1x - Duet PanelDue 5i : $50 - Never used.
      • 2x Duet 2 Wifi boards : $90 each - These boards have been used in two, now retired, heavily modified, Ender 3 printers.

These boards are not clones. The Duet 2 boards were purchased sometime around 2018 I believe, and the Duet 3 board were purchased sometime around 2021.

Photos of the board are in my google photos

I'm somewhat flexible on the prices, though, not by much.

I'm located in the Minneapolis, MN area and will ship anywhere. Buyer pays actual shipping costs.

@dc42 They indeed are Dave. I believe I got them from MaterHackers.

    • RE: Failed update from 3.2 to 3.2.2

OK, I figured it out. Reading another post, I discovered the M997 command.

I issued M997 and it reapplied 3.2.2, and then M997 S1 to apply the web update.

      Then M552 S1 P"SSID" and it connected.

I have to say it. There is no better way to run a 3d printer than with these boards. The ability to make config changes like this without having to recompile the firmware... priceless

    • Failed update from 3.2 to 3.2.2

I upgraded my Duet 2 wifi to Release 3.2 back February 2021 and again to release 3.2.2 yesterday. But something did not work as expected(or it did and I did something incorrectly, more likely.) because now wifi is not coming up.

I downloaded Duet2and3Firmware-3.2.2.zip and did the upload as normal from the system page. I left it and when I got back to it today, there was no WIFI. I can connect vi USB ok. I've tried bringing it up manually from yat:

      M552 S-1
      ok
      M552 S1 P"SSID"
      ok
      M552
      WiFi module is being started
      ok

What I find interesting is, after doing the above to manually bring up the wifi, M122 says WIFI is disabled:

      - WiFi -
      Network state is starting2
      WiFi module is disabled
Failed messages: pending 0, notready 0, noresp 0
      Socket states: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
      ok

Everything was working normally before the attempted update, but I've been tried manually doing the update by copying the firmware files to /Firmware and removing the firmware bin files from /sys but this has not worked. I figured, before I get too far down the rabbit hole, I should probably ask for help as its been about a year since I've played with this stuff.

My config file should bring WIFI up, however, when I issue M552, I get: "WiFi module is being started"

If I issue a M587 I get: "Error: M587: Failed to retrieve network list: another SPI transfer is pending"

      My M122 output:

Its it best if my G30 probing locations are equidistant from X center? Just wondering as with my probe on the left side of the extruder, I can probe the far left edge of my bed.

Awesome guys.. Thank you. That's one thing I love about 3d printing, I never stop learning new things.

It was mostly working, I was just trying to be certain I understood what was going on. I think I'll need to remeasure the distance from Xmin/Xmax to the screw centers, I just took a very rough measurement the first time. How accurate should these measurements be?

    • Trying to figure out dual-z motors with independent drivers

I've got a very modified Ender 3 with dual z motors. For a few weeks now I've just been running both motors in series but just last night moved the second motor over to E4:

      M584 X0 Y1 Z2:4 E3 ; set drive mapping

I'm having trouble understanding the relationship between the axis limits defined with M208, and the X/Y coordinates I specify in the M671 command. Currently my axis limits are:

      M208 X0:210 Y0:210

      And M671:

      M671 X-20:220 Y0:0 S0.5

My assumption is that the X/Y settings in M671 are the offsets to where the Z acme rods are, in reference to the X/Y locations specified with M208. So for instance with M672 X-20, the X-20 would be 20mm BEFORE X0. Is this correct?

      My config files are attached:
      config(4).g
      bed.g
      homeall.g
      homez.g

That did it Danal. Thanks much. I would not have figured that out myself.
