    • RE: Printing problems with large parts

      It seems to still be working so I'm going to call it fixed.

    • RE: Updating to a new 3D printer

      It looks like I can just go directly to the current release. I’m now running the current version and the basic machine functionality seems to be there. My PanelDue no longer works so I suspect I need to do some updates on it as well. Fortunately, it communicates with my iPad well so I’m able to keep going with this printer build.

      Now i need to figure out how to ge Bossa working on my iMac Studio.

      @deckingman said in Printing problems with large parts:

      @mperdue. Try moving all the cables while it's printing a small part to see if you can induce the error.

      Heck with that, I just replaced the whole harness. It was working last night so I'll give it a good checkout today.

      Thanks for the help, everyone.

    • RE: Is the panelduet needed

      No, it's not needed. In my case the printers are not near my computer so the PanelDue is very handy. I would not want to work in my setup without the PanelDue.

      @Phaedrux Yeah, that's what I did. I was in pretty good shape with most of the files. Now it's time to add the tools and the macros to support tool changing. It's all going smoother than I expected.

    • RE: Editing macros with iPad

      I’m pretty certain it’s an iPad/safari issue which is why I asked about adding a button. It would give an alternate way of doing it without a lot of overhead. For consistency it might be good to add it on the /sys page as well. Then a person could check the box next to the file name and click edit.

      I do find it interesting that the one page defaults to executing the file while the other defaults to editing the file. That might give. A clue to what is going on.

    • RE: Detect overheated driver

      @t3p3tony

      I agree that a lot more investigation is required. I have gotten some spurious errors and other unexplained wonkiness. I should receive a new Duet WiFi and Duex5 today so I'll first try to isolate which board it causing the problems and then try to narrow it down from there.

      Unfortunately, this thread seems to have been hijacked so I'll start a new one if/when I figure anything out.

      @t3p3tony i can use Chrome if I have to. Currently I just walk upstairs and do it on my iMac. The exercise isn’t going to kill me. 🙂
