Figured out something important.
Hi there Duet users, For quite awhile I have had this loading file error, This error was not allowing files to load that were around 3 to 5 mb or larger. I was so frustrated. Most of my own drawing's/ models were over 5mb. I tried everything and asked lots of people for suggestions. I read every post and forum I could find. It seemed that not many other users were having this issue. But I did read about a few users that were having the same exact problem. So I tried everything possible. I do feel that resoldering all the pins on the wifi module and the sd card holder did help the data transfer. But still it was struggling to load larger files. So I read all the information about ajax time out errors. Also sometimes I could load a smaller file around 1 mb then as soon as it loaded, I would send the larger file of around 5mb. Many times this would let the larger file load. So I read more about this. Then I wrote down all my settings and started trying different settings in the machine specific communication area on the duet web control page. Took me a number of tests. But I nailed it. Now my files load very quickly. I have now tested this many times so I wanted to share my settings. General tab "5,000 ms" Machine specific commmunication - number of Ajax settings "6 " This was set at 4 and I feel this made the biggest difference. Update interval 250 (ms) Extended status update interval 20(ms) retry threshold for file transfer 350(ms). Now my Duet loads the larger files very fast with no errors. Running ViaCad V12 pro...and Moi3d...SuperSlicer....and my Elite Machine Works UXL. I get some amazing prints using this combination. Thank you Duet3D for making such an awesome product. I love my panel due as well. Happy New Year 2023. P.s I did read all those tech tips that a Duet tech replied to my posts awhile back. I really appreciated those tips. Peace out from Colorado.

RE: Strange problem.
After going through all my settings, I reformatted my SD card, And re-loaded all my setup files. After I probed the bed and was ready to run a test print. I went to wipe the nozzle on my Hemera. And it moved just a small amount. I instantly knew I just found the problem. I re-tightened my nozzle and have now printed about 40 hours no problems. Just love my Duet 2 wifi board. Have a great 2024 Duet3D.

Strange problem.
Hi Duet3D, Hope all is well.
Two days ago my 3d printer started doing something very strange.
It started pausing in the middle of the print job. I have read a few posts that sound exactly like my problem. Pausing at random places in the print.
And the only error you see is a "Resume state saved" "print paused due to low voltage" I have looked at all the diagnostics and there really is no errors that I see. No overvoltage or under voltage errors.
My cpu is staying within the safe temp. range. I have tried different slicers. Different outlets. I have watched the voltage and temps as its running and everything seems fine.
I have never updated my firmware. I was always a bit nervous about doing that. But I do think I could possibly do it after all my reading. Watched a few videos as well.
My machine is an Elite Machine Works Ultimate Xl. It has really good quality components on it. The power supply is a Mean well 24volt 220 watt medical power supply. Like I said the machine has been running really well for at least a solid year. I also have not run the machine that hard.
I mostly print small items that are done after a few hours. If any one has any ideas I would be so happy.
I am sad that my printer is not working. Thanks so much. If any one needs my config. diagnostic pages I can send them.
p.s Firmware is 2.05.1 Duet wifi 1.02 or later.

RE: Figured out something important.
@Phaedrux Hi Phaedrux, Just fired up my Duet. I know if I would have upgraded my firmware These setting prob. would have been updated.
I was always a little hesitant to update my firmware. It worked so perfect with smaller files around 1mb.
I think I also read some where that a few people had a few problems updating the firmware. If you recommend me upgrading I would definitely do it.
Here are my settings: Firmware reprap 2.05.1
web control 2.0.7
Duet wifi 1.02 or later
Duet wifi server version 1.23Always impressed reading all your info. Phaedrux.

I just re-soldered some pins
Hi Duet users, I have been looking at the pins on the sd card holder and the wifi module for awhile now. I finally got out my surface mount/micro soldring iron. Put some kapton tape down around these areas. Fluxed those pins, Put on my magnifying visor, Turned my solder iron up to 500 degrees. 420 at tip. And re-soldered all those pins. Now when I test this loading procedure it is so much better. The pin with the poorest solder connection was the ground pin. On the wifi module. I truely believe this made a huge improvement. Should have done this months ago. Anywhoo Peace out. p.s. Thingiverse files still load very inconsistently. And I have also read all about this, and their 5 second delay. Or messy files. With way to many vertices. Overall the way this Duet 2 wifi works is so amazing. Just as long as it loads my files. Have fun out there.
