      @droftarts , rebooting without the card did restore some functionality in DWC but has led to a whole host of new errors.
      @Danal , I have already configured my Pi with duetpi, but I suspect, after reading all of your information, that something has become corrupted by updating with the SD card in the Duet slot.
      Tomorrow, I'll wipe everything and reload and see if that solves the problem.
      Thank you both for the assist, I certainly appreciate it.

      Well there is your problem ... you SHOULD have lubed the power supply ! 🙂 The electrons are getting stuck in there because of too much friction !

      You're not the first person to make that mistake. It happens.

      I think you're well on your way though, the rest of the config looked ok. With the files in the right place it should be a lot easier to figure out what is going on now since the machine should respond as expected.

      Any further issues should be easy to resolve.
