Input Shaping and PA

i made some tests with PA an IS.

Upper one without IS
The other one with IS

is this expected @dc42 ?

@pcr can you describe the differences you are seeing? It might be easier with your description as well as the photos.

Pressure advance works separately from input shaping, although as you have seen input shaping affects PA. I would get IS set to what you want then retune PA to match.

@t3p3tony yep it seems that with IS in you need Higher PA ;(

My findings are that increasing PA to almost absurd levels for clean‘ish corners causes other issues in infill areas.
What are your observations?

I am running into similar issues. It also seems to effect small features such as small gear teeth.

The impacts on PA likely vary with the input shaping algorithm and targeted frequency. I'm running MZV at 23.85 HZ and my PA tuning strips look nearly identical.
