Jerk in the 500 to 1500 range would be pretty common I think. You're on the incredibly low end with 5.

@leprint Funny you should mention that because I have adjusted the tension and lubricated these things many times but what I find curious is the height map DOES change when I adjust the tension of any of them. I have made a spreadsheet of how I adjusted each tower and recorded the height map afterwards. Then, I would save that height map screenshot, adjust another tower, then record the results to see if I could find out what's causing it but I could never find a clear answer for the cause of those dips and peaks you see in the heightmap. I even lubricated the channels they move up and down through and made sure every bearing was not seizing or clicking with no avail.

If you ever do decide to update beyond 2.05...

If you still have access to DWC. Upload these 4 zip files, one at a time in the system tab. Don't extract them first. Reboot after each. Use M115 in the gcode console to verify the firmware has been applied.
      https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/2.05.1/Duet2Firmware-2.05.1.zip
      https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.0/Duet2and3Firmware-3.0.zip
      https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.3/Duet2and3Firmware-3.3.zip
      https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.4.0/Duet2and3Firmware-3.4.0.zip

That will get your firmware and DWC up to date.

You can see the change logs here:
      https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/wiki/Changelog-RRF-3.x

For your config, might be a good idea to run through the configurator tool and generate a fresh set for RRF3.
      https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/Start

Backup your existing config files in the sys folder in case you want to switch back to RRF2. It’s easy to switch back and forth, just upload the zip file for the version you want and then upload your config files.

These documents will come in handy during the conversion.

Ok, sorry to come back to this post so late but I had other issues and I could not test further...

Now I managed to free other 3 heater ports on the Duex, so I got rid of the buck converter as I could connect all 4 servos to 4 pwm ports on the Duet.
      Nothing works anymore.

I tried also this configuration but nothing... The only visible thing that happens when I invoke a M42 or M280 command is that the corresponding heater led lights up (and remains up). So, it could be that the ports do not deliver the 5v? Before, using only the signal pin they worked with an external 5v supply...

Can you go through these troubleshooting steps and see how far you can get?

That message is coming from a user macro and not the firmware. What did you push before you got that message?

Hardware seems functional. For further help you'll have to provide some config files. config.g, homeall.g, homex homey homez bed.g and results of M98 P"config.g".
