      The flex cable is slowly moving inside the tubing. I realized that the nimble casing is not closing itself properly. Perhaps the casing deformed when I printed ASA with it.

      It’s starting to take shape in my head. I’ll have a bit of testing to do but I think I have a good idea of how I’ll pull it off

      Concerning the firmware side of thing i guess the retraction Z hop is just applied like a M290 command?

      The Z hop is applied when you send G10 and undone when you send G11.

      G10 commands do not nest, so if you send more than one then the second and subsequent ones will be ignored. Similarly, G11 will be ignored unless there is an outstanding G10 that hasn't been undone yet.

      That's a prototype above, that already works. Target, very soon now, is to have a version that "serves" from a Duet.

      I have not tested it in Chromium on a Pi. It does work in Chrome, Firefox, Edge on a PC and Safari on Mac.

      I will keep this in mind. I’ll contact you later and see if you can work with my programmer to find a common solution. Good work!

      It was indeed the case. The manufacturer listed the resistance at 100k but it’s more like 50k. I changed this setting on my M305 and now I’m getting the bed up to right temp.

      It does take at least a minute before the heat goes all the way into the PEI. I’ll just add a timer before start of a print.

      Thanks everyone. I’m calibrating the thing as of now and i have great hopes that I’ll improve quality of my prints
