      I have replaced the jumpers on the second connector. I didn't connect the motor to the board
      I still get the same error message.

      I think it's likely the fall killed the driver because it also broke the mount that mounts the motor onto the frame. Like @droftarts said it may have forced it upwards at speed and killed the driver.

      Yeah i didn't put it flat and it fell. Now I get an error on driver 2

      Driver 2 error: phase B short to ground

      I have two question which driver ic is driver 2?

      584 X0 Y1 Z2 E3                               ; set drive mapping

      Am guessing that this tell reprap which axis is connected to which driver.

      In an attempt to see if it's the board thats damaged, I have disconnected all motors then tried homing. I still get the same error on driver 2.

      Does this mean it's fried?

      It;s happened again today. I am definately pushing on the black bowden tube clip thingy. But the tube appears to be stuck.

      The clip thingy doesnt seem to depress as it usually does.

      Sorry I forgot to tell you it's a Prusa MK2S
      I ave tried the tramming process using my feeler gauage as reference. However I still get a bogus height map. Now it's has a little mountain in the top right corner.

      So I have home all axis then used dwc to move to each of the four corner. the back two corners are now lower than the front two.

      I have order some springs from Amazon. I will try with the springs tomorrow.

      @droftarts
      I don'tknow about the acceleration settings. Maybe i edited themby accident at some point.

      I have a problem with squaring the bed to the x axis. The upper right hand corner appears to be higher than the lower right hand corner.

      So I squared up the x axis with z then went down till the nozzle was 0.4mm above the bed. IT didn't hit the bed when the nozzle was in the lower left or lower right corner. But the gap disappeared when I moved to the top right hand corner.

      HOw is this possible? I haven't built it correctly then lol.

      The direction of the slope also keeps changing. It's really weird. If you look at the last height map it slopes right to left. However the latest height map slopes from left to right.

      Why is this

      So I have one normal 3pin for the hotend. I was wondering if there is a way I can monitor if it's spinning?

      If it isn't then popup a message saying it's not spinning.

      I have tried to level the bed using a boat level then realigning the x axis with my digital calipers. then recalibrating the z height as @fcwilt dvised. However the resultant height map is still bogus.

      There is still a slope that is saying the left hand side is lower than the right.
      However the booat level says it's level.

      Thanks for the help everyone has given me. Wouldn't of known what to do otherwise.

      The y Axis gets slotted into those slots at the bottom then tighten with a nut. So it's a case of moving it up and down then tighten the nut.

      You have to hang the printer over the edge of the table to adjust the nut. PITA

      @fcwilt
      The same way I did it before. I homed all the axis then did a G30 S-1 then lowered the nozzle till it touched the feeler gauage and the read out is close to 0.4mm +/- 0.05.

      I must say when I home the z axis then lower the nozzle till it's at 0, the nozzle is very close to the bed. I don't see a gap at all. Is that normal?

      Leveling the bed is a pain on the Prusa. It doesn't have any adjustable bed screws. You lower and raise it by lossening a nut underneath the bed.
      By underneath I mean right in the middle but under the bed. So you can't access it easily.

      You have to hang the printer over the side of the table so you get your spanner in sideways.

      I'll try leveling the bed with a boat level tomorrow.

      Yeah that is a Steven special. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I did it because the of the orange fan mount on the side, I didn't have enough room to mount the bltouch.

      OK I have a rigid mount now but it still gives me a bogus height map.

      So I have double checked the z height and it has changed for some reason.
      I am very sure it was a tight fit but now it's too high.
      I did the procedure whilst the bed and hotend was hot.

      should I of done it whilst it's cold?

      I removed the feeler gauage from the holder. Then put it flat on the bed. I then did a G30 S-1 then lowered the nozzle until it touched the feeler gauage. Then check the z axis readout. It did say 0.4mm. It also felt like a close fit too.

      @fcwilt
      I have corrected the z height then did another bed compension session but this time I get a spike in the middle of the bed.

      With the z height correct according to the feeler gauage, the z height whilst printing is far too low. so low the filament is just a smuge of filament. As if it was drawn on with lipstick.

      I have to use the baby stepping function to get it but even then its difficult to get an ideal layer height because it will look like its at an ideal height in one spot but then so high in another spot so that it doesn't stick to the bed. And this is with the mesh bed compensation on.

      Why am I having such difficulty? I am just about ready to throw the printer through the window.

      Many Thanks to @fcwilt and @Phaedrux

      The bltouch appears to be repeatable so far. The 5 trigger height measurments I did were all +/- 0.1mm of each other.

      My chinese sister invented a good product. I believe the engineer that invented the BL TOuch was female and chinese. Unless the picture i saw was just a representive. I hope I can finally get a consistent first layer. Not 0.3mm on one side then barely anything on the other side.
