@jens55 the case I have (not my design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4025246) does have a fan that vents the whole thing and saves a bunch of space. I thought that may be the case initially but even after removing it and it having plenty of time to cool.

I think the impedance is way more important that the pure resistance; but unless you're running tens of meters or more i doubt length (and resistance) is an issue.

Some user are seeing issues getting connected to the bootload with the duet3, with other cables or computers sometimes being the solution.

But yes, once you're on 3.0 you should be able to update to 3.1.1.

simplet is probably to run M997 in DWC (or via usb serial if DSF/DWC doesn't work yet)

(edit: or with bossa the interim step of 3.0 doesn't apply, its a limitation of the iap firmware which is bypassed with bossa)

@dc42 Thanks for the updates on this. I have a tool board on backorder at Filastruder and looking forward to getting it. I hope your supplier issues get sorted out. That can certainly be a challenge these days.

Maybe if it really compressed the cork. I've not found a better reason unfortunately.
