Yep sorry, I mean't 16X with interpolation

RE: Lines on part every couple of mm
@dc42
Its a custom built machine, mostly made using machined aluminium plates and other metal components.- The Z is a 1204 Ballscrew.
- It is hard to measure the lines but I would say they are about 2mm.
- Axis steps/mm is: X80 Y80 Z800 E415 all with 256th Micro-stepping
- Yes the belt does go around non-toothed idlers but only the back of the belt for X and Y axis and for the Z axis the Belt goes around both toothed and non-toothed idlers (back of the belt) and the pitch is 2mm.

Lines on part every couple of mm
So I have been having this problem and I am unable to figure out what is causing it and was hoping someone could help me.
As you can see in the images below every couple of mm there seems to be some lines that appear on the part that is being printed. I am unable to figure out what is causing this (Mostly I think it is a hardware problem but has anyone had a similar issue).
Any help would be appreciated

First prototype mount for the threaded heatsink. Print with 0.2mm layer height.

Thanks for the quick design, you have a new buyer for the Orion Module

I wanted to know if anyone has tried the Precision Piezo Sensor on the E3D Threaded Heatsink design:
I have actually just done this with a mini kossel that I am retrofitting. It does not use the smart effector, but one of my own design. It is presently in pieces awaiting linear rails however.
Mind sharing the design? I can try to look into adapting the design for my machine.

Well if you can design a mount for it, I would be happy to purchase the Orion module for testing, ideally later I would try to incorporate the design to work with my aluminium milled part.

RE: Precision Piezo for E3D V6 Threaded Heatsink
Hello,
I had a look at this earlier before posting this, I should have specified that the machine is a Corexy and not a Delta. I have been trying to search for how you have implemented the contact sensor with the heatsink but wasn't able to find much information. Is there any chance you are planning on developing something like this for a Cartesian system.

Precision Piezo for E3D V6 Threaded Heatsink
I have been using the Mini IR Sensor for the machine that I have been developing (Company printer) unfortunately when the machine was sent for user testing, there were few issues with PEI surface on aluminium (I knew this was going to be a problem but I didn't think it was going to be a big issue). Out of 4 sensors 2 had several problems after few days of printing.
As much as I love the IR Sensors and will continue to use them for personal use I am now looking for a different sensor for the company printers.
I wanted to know if anyone has tried the Precision Piezo Sensor on the E3D Threaded Heatsink design:
https://e3d-online.com/v6-threaded-heatsinkJust so people get a better idea, the design looks like this:
The threaded heatsink is attached using a M12 nut between a milled aluminum bracket, I want to avoid modifying this too much but I am not sure if it is even possible to attach a Piezo sensor to this.
I know Dc42 has a design for delta machines that use this heatsink and some type of contact sensor but could not find any more information on the actual sensor or how its attached to this heatsink
Any help is appreciated, Thanks guys

RE: Unable to Connect to Duet Console from my laptop
Thanks for the input guys, I have no idea what I changed but reinstalling the firmware on the duet and reinstalling Chrome OS on the old laptop has seemed to fix the issue and I now do not have any problems.

RE: Unable to Connect to Duet Console from my laptop
Have tried chrome and explorer, same problem.

It is able to access the UI for few seconds and then it loses connection, and I am not able to access it again until I do a complete restart

Unable to Connect to Duet Console from my laptop
So I have a weird problem, I got a spare laptop for running my printers but for some reason I am unable to connect to the Duet with this laptop.
I am able to connect to the machine using all other devices I have except this laptop, so I am highly assuming its something to do with the laptop I have.
The machine is running in access point mode, as it will be going to a location without a router.
Has anyone had a similar problem, the laptop is Windows 10
