@Syko_Symatic also bear in md that a G30 probe (which you are probably using to establish ZX=0 at the centre of the bed) probed wherever the head currently is, whereas G29 takes account of the probe offset. So the XY coordinates of the initial centre probe need to correspond with the XY coordinates of one of the G29 probe point minus the XY offsets of the probe hat you declared in your G31 command.

@Syko_Symatic My guess by readin and looking the video: the problem is your guide. Remember that you have to take care of the 3 values of a linear guide rail: skew, tilt and roll. All 3 have different limits regarding the forces you can apply on them. Go outside of those limits and you will face nasty problems like this.
That is my guess, also I would check if the guide itself has not loose any of its balls during installation

@dc42, yes, this is a good point. Doubling the copper thickness doesn't double the solder.

Power input into the PSU is a perfectly reasonable measure of how much electricity your printer is costing you to run. But loses in the PSU, and Duet board and wiring will mean you aren't really measuring anything useful for diagnosing your problems. If your PSU is meant to be giving you 300w and your total DC current flowing is 15A but its struggling then its a duff PSU.

It looks like it could be an overextrusion issue. I would calibrate the extruder and maybe up your motor currents if you hear or see the xy motors skipping. Zwobble is also another likely problem. I would look up your printer and z wobble fixes and check them out.

      Hope this helps

What about a silicone type heater rather than a PCB heater? They tend to be a bit better in my experience. Also, add some sort of insulation if you haven't already. Even a very thin reflective barrier can make a big difference.

I just tested this 30mm 24V fan http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191458206299/. It works with PWM at the default frequency, right down to S0.1. But I can feel that at full PWM it is pushing less air than the E3D fan.

I used to have a fan shroud on my E3D hot end that took a 40mm fan, and I may return to that approach in future if the fan noise annoys me too much.

Your configuration looks ok to me. What happens if you swap channels on the PT100 board?

I prefer to keep my slicer configuration as standard as possible and do parking, heating and unparking in free#.g and post#.g so it's easier to use different slicers.

And so…. Did both LEDs work correctly? Yes.

      Resistance was around 14ohms.

I checked the wiring again and this is where it gets weird! HE0 has been working perfectly yet ok closer inspection it's GND was in the HE1 terminal? HE1 was obviously wired vice-versa. Swapped it all around and it now all works?

Problem solved. I am interested in why it worked with HE1?

BTW, you can buy a cheap buck converter off of amazon or something and run it at 5v or whatever voltage you need. The cheap ones can run a few fans. This would also allow you to slightly overvolt the noctua if necessary (be careful).
