It's now a moot point. The replacement fuse didn't resolve. The heater is dead in the water. I am not sure I want to put any more money into my printer.

@gloomyandy Yes, the hazards of using a 20A fuse with a heater that draws more than 20A. Mine draws 16.66A

RE: Replacement Fuse
My heating pad is rated at 24v, 400watts which converts to 17 amps. I think I should be safe with a 20A fuse, correct?

Replacement Fuse
I have the Duet 3 6HC. The fuse for my heater bed blew. The board is powered by a 24 power supply. What kind of fuse is that? I read in the documentation that an 18A is rare and I should use a 20A.
Is this the proper replacement:

RE: PanelDue designations
@dc42 Okay, thanks for clarifying. I wasn't sure which firmware update to use.

RE: Using a 12 volt fan on 6HC board with vin 24 volts
@deckingman I have 2 fans, one for the hotend and one for part cooling. I have decided to just stick with my 24v fans, much simpler.

RE: Using a 12 volt fan on 6HC board with vin 24 volts
@gixxerfast I just looked at the wiring diagram. It has this warning:
"Note: These outputs are protected by a flyback diode connected to V_OUT_LC_2. Do not mix loads connected to V_OUT_LC_2 with the jumper set to 12V and loads connected to V_FUSED on the same bank." -
RE: Using a 12 volt fan on 6HC board with vin 24 volts
@gixxerfast Yes, there is another fan. I suppose I could move one of the fans to Out 4.

Using a 12 volt fan on 6HC board with vin 24 volts
I have a 12-volt fan I want to use on Out 7. The 6HC board has 24 volts for Vin. Could I just connect one lead of the fan to the dedicated 12V pin and connect the other lead to ground on V_OUTC2 on Out 7? Wouldn't that make it controllable?

RE: Unable to configure bed heater
@phaedrux Okay, I got things straightened out.
- That loud tone was coming from my APC battery backup. The printer is now plugged into a surge protector.
- Bed Heater is now connected to OUT 0.
- Confirmed bed heater calibration still works.
Thank you very much for the guidance.

RE: Unable to configure bed heater
@phaedrux I am worried I got it all wrong. I have my heater connected here:
-
RE: Unable to configure bed heater
@phaedrux So, based on your comment, I do not need the power supply feeding Out 2 (middle connector block), just the left (Out 1/Power In)

RE: Unable to configure bed heater
@phaedrux I will check when I get home.

RE: Unable to configure bed heater
@phaedrux I have my power supply feeding these leads:
-
RE: Unable to configure bed heater
@phaedrux When the heater is first warming up from room temperature, there is a loud, continuous tone coming from the board. After it reaches the target temperature, the tone stops. Even when the temperature drops, the tone does not return when the board engages the heater to warm up again.
I am not sure if this helps but I have both outputs from my power supply feeding the 2 inputs to the board. When I first got the board, a Facebook group advised me to set it up that way.
