Deckingman's passing
-
I sadly must report that Ian "Deckingman" Pegg has passed away. Ian was a hugely valued member of this community for a long time and he will be missed, especially by his friends at Duet3D.
His work on is amazing stacked CoreXYUVAB colour changing machine, and 6 input mixing hot end stretched what was possible in this space.

I just rewatched Ian's interview with Tom at TCT show from 2019.
-
@T3P3Tony so sorry to hear of his passing. He will definitely be missed!
-
I will miss him, too. We had long conversations (outside of the forum) and he was always given me great and blunt feedback and advice on my ideas - whether 3D printers or anything else.
-
@T3P3Tony So sad. Miss him, too. RIP Deckingman

RIP Deckingman

Sad news. His contributions will not be forgotten.

Very sad to hear. RIP Ian

He will be missed.
-
He made some great contributions to the state of knowledge of FDM printing, especially in relation to multiple extrusion. We will miss him.

So sad to hear, he will be missed
-
Sorry to hear this, I’ve read a lot of Ian’s posts and watched his YouTube videos, a lot of good info. RIP
-
So sad to hear about his passing. Thanks for your contribution @deckingman. You will be missed!

deckingman was one of the staunchest supporters and harshest critics of Duet3D and RepRapFormware. I believe RRF wouldn’t be where it is today without him and he is a true loss to the community. Godspeed, and may all his hotends flow fast and even on the other side
-
So sorry to hear it. Rest in Peace.

So very sorry to hear of Ian's death. He helped me on many occasions and for that I will always be grateful. RIP
