Does anyone have recommendations for a magnetic build surface. This is what I am building and have everything except for the actual top magnetic plate. please comment if you see something that doesn't look like it will work properly.
    Thanks

How big, what plastics are you printing with?

I'm currently using a CHPOWER Creality Magnetic build surface from Amazon. Very flat, prints PLA very well. Downsides: 300x300 mm only (could trim smaller), max 70C temp. Have not tried it with PETG, which I usually like to print with 90C bed temp.

I was looking at the magnetic beds sold by Geckotek, but got an EZ-Stik Hot print surface to try. At first, was really liking it, but started having problems with the filament not sticking after only about 15-20 prints. I think their magnetic beds all come with that surface applied.

1000 Watt seems to be very very high. Magnets looses his strength at high temperatures.
I prefer to use a magnetic foil and a ferro foil. So you have the whole surface as magnetic area.

Rare earth magnets handle higher temperatures than standard neodym magnets (there are high temperature neodym, but they are more expensive).

          I have a similar setup.

Is there any effect on the silicone heater from the magnetic fields?

No, but some probes can be affected by the magnets. BLTouch for example. Maybe others?

@dallash I'm not too sure really. If it does end up affecting your heightmap you can manually edit the .CSV file to bring the erroneous points in line with the rest.

It's possible the newer BLTouch aren't as effected by it?

                      So definitely report back.

@dallash There is an option "B1" to stop the bed heater during probing:

Railcores probe a mag bed with a BL Touch between the magnets. Do not know if you could do that with the spec of your magnets.
