Duet Wifi + Raspberry Octoprint Power Problem
Hi
I connected today my duet to my octoprint to use my Palette in connected mode but if the printer is off and the raspberry is on I see the bltouch on and the paneldue blinking, why?
How can I fix this problem? -
RE: Stringing problem corexy
it's a direct, I have less than 10cm of bowden tube between bmg and hotend

Stringing problem corexy
Hi
As you can see in the picture I have problemswith my direct BMG corexy, these are my config:

BLTouch extend problem
Hi
I wired and configured on a duet wifi a new bltouch original, I'm able to do self test, I'm able to extend and retract it but I read this:
If all is well the web interface should report a value of ”0” in the Z probe column when the pin is extended. You can then lightly touch the extended probe pin to check that the pin retracts, the value in the Z probe Column should change to “1000”
My bltouch value 0 is when is retract and 1000 if I try to touch.
I'm trying to do M30 to make first configuration, the bltouch pin extend but when touch the bed it start blinking.
My conf is:
; Axis Limits
M208 X0 Y0 Z0 S1 ; set axis minima
M208 X300 Y300 Z350 S0 ; set axis maxima; Endstops
;M574 X1 Y1 Z2 S1 ; set active high and disabled endstops
M574 X1 Y2 S0 ; set active high and disabled endstops
M574 Z1 S2 ; set endstops controlled by probe; Z-Probe
M307 H3 A-1 C-1 D-1 ; disable heater on PWM channel for BLTouch
M558 P9 H5 F100 T2000 ; set Z probe type to bltouch and the dive height + speeds
G31 X0 Y-36 Z0.3 P25 ; set Z probe trigger value, offset and trigger height
M557 X60:215 Y60:215 S40 ; define mesh gridThanks

RE: Stepper motor noise
@deckingman hi
Today I received new stepper motors for another printer, I tried to install them:Technical info:
-Manufacturer: LDO
-Model: LDO-42STH47
-Holding Torque: 5.5 kg/cm - 76oz-in
-Shaft: 5mm
-Voltage rating: 3.1V
-Stepping angle:1.8 degrees
-Current rating: 2.5A/Phase
-Connector type: JST PH-6So I see max current 2.5, what's the right current? Right now with same configuration of 800 print better than other motors but I hear a little noise and vibration.

Stepper motor noise
Hi
I fixed different problems on my Saphire Plus with your help in these days, now I have a strange problem in my print quality and maybe can be related on a motor noise and vibration.
Before install my duet, I was printing with a mks board and tmc2208 and my motors works very silent, now not.
This is my motor model 17HS4401S
Nema17 Bipolar.
Number of Phase: 2.
Step Angle: 1.8°.
Phase Voltage: 2.6Vdc.
Phase Current: 1.7A.
Resistance: 1.5Ω ±10%.
Inductance: 2.8mH ±20% (1KHz).
Number of Wire: 4 (100cm Length).
Holding Torque: 43N.cm.
Shaft Diameter: Ø5mm.
Motor Length: 40mm.
Mass: 290g.This is my conf:
; Drives
M569 P0 S1 ; physical drive 0 goes forwards
M569 P1 S1 ; physical drive 1 goes forwards
M569 P2 S1 ; physical drive 2 goes forwards
M569 P3 S0 ; physical drive 3 goes forwards
M584 X0 Y1 Z2 E3 ; set drive mapping
M350 X16 Y16 Z16 E16 I1 ; configure microstepping with interpolation
M92 X80.00 Y80.00 Z400.00 E415.00 ; set steps per mm
M566 X600 Y600 Z60 E600 ; Maximum jerk in mm/min
M203 X12000 Y12000 Z1200 E2500 ; set maximum speeds (mm/min)
M201 X800 Y800 Z60 E1200 ; set accelerations (mm/s^2)
M906 X800 Y800 Z800 E800 I30 ; set motor currents (mA) and motor idle factor in per cent
M84 S30 ; Set idle timeoutWhat can I do to reduce motor vibration and noise?
Thanks -
RE: Help Core XY
@Phaedrux what I see is, before duet I was using a mks board with tmc2208 and my stepper were very quiet, no vibration, now with duet i hear a little noise that cause a little vibration, can be this the problem?
-
RE: Help Core XY
@Phaedrux my con print at 210°, with slicer con at 220°
-
RE: Help Core XY
@Phaedrux ok tried with your profile and I think is much better
On the left your profile.
I think there is something to change for jerk to optimise all edges.
What do you think?
Without belt x and y are very smooth, all mechanic I think is good and ok.
Could you share your conf.g?
-
RE: Help Core XY
On the left old non original belts, on the right gt2 belts... Same result..
Do you have a profile for simplify or slic3r to test?
-
RE: Help Core XY
@Phaedrux I changed right now old belts with gates gt2 6mm,now I'm printing again same cube.
-
RE: Help Core XY
@deckingman it's a sapphire plus printer, all mechanical parts are in metal, I changed the power supply with meanwell and motherboard with duet.
I use bowden configuration with bondtech.
At the moment the original parts are belt and e3d non original. -
RE: Help Core XY
@Phaedrux do you suggest to change the 6mm belt with 9mm?
