@Firefly It applies it to both. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Tuning/Input_shaping#why-we-dont-support-different-shaping-for-the-x-and-y-axes

Not sure why they'd want to change max speed on the fly rather than just use feed rates?

I think the only gcode limit Cura changes now is M566 for jerk. Feedrate is handled by G1 and for acceleration I believe they use M204.

I can't say what other slicers do. Last I checked Prusa didn't allow for on the fly jerk changes at all without post processing.

@dc42 when I when to use the printer again, I saw the message "Input Shaping is not configured. Record a new Motion Profile to set it up" seems I lost it, it happened before and I thought I deleted it by accident, but not this time. printer was off for awhile and don't see how to recall the last motion profile. I already removed the input shaping sensor, but if I do this again what is the proper way to save and make it stay?

In Duet 3 boards the pin names are more generic.

dunno how or why, but I decided to try moving the thermocouple to second port (from left to right) and its working I didn't even update the code. I never removed the wire I just had the daughterboard unplugged.

      Duet2and3Firmware-3.4.5.zip

Yes the easiest way to update is to just upload that complete zip file. Don't extract it first. Just upload the zip and DWC will take care of the rest.

Making progress, so added the capacitors and no more spikes on thermocouple, this was a duel extruder printer and removed one to shed weight and to simply things. Updated the firmware to 3.4 and surprised to find it now supports input shaping, so now will have to give that a try.
