Become a great programmer in C++. You'll be able to participate in a lot of 3D-type projects written in either C or C++.
Then, learn (I hate to even say it) JavaScript. Most web-stuff is in JavaScript nowadays.
@gwatson90 it's on our list to look at, but not high priority. The response time of the accelerometer would probably be too slow to allow a fast probing speed.
