@lee7670 Id really like this too. Im having trouble trying to see what is causing my printer to throw a heater fault since its only happening every 20+ hours of operation so the data on the temperature graph is lost.

You should be able to send the commands at any time and they should take effect without a reboot.

What problems are you having with tuning?

In a test run the Due was quick enough to answer every step pulse. There is no 'piling up' of steps I could apply a PID algorythm to.
The hardware QDE is capable of reading the encoder pulses at 42MHz. Not sure about the other interrupts, though...

In principle yes, however I will need to do a little work because in some places the axis number is stored in only 4 bits.

The new algorithm is geared for accuracy rather than speed. 1.5 hours may actually be pretty short compared to that on a very large thick bed. Best to just leave it do what it needs to do?

That isn't possible at present.

RRF provides the mod(a,b) function instead.

Can you try with a different SD card?

Does it happen with just that file or with any large file of that size?

Unfortunately I am still very much in 3D printer land, so I sort of want to have my cake and eat it too! Looking forward to a new version of DWC though.
