    • RE: STD6 hot-end installation

      Hi @Phaedrux,
The hotend STD6 will be used with Orbiter v2.
Duet 2 WiFi Server Version: 1.23
      Here is the STD6 link:

      • Built in PT1000 RTD sensor
        Cylindrical heater 24V 144W.
        Notice that it's 144W.
        I'm also adding 2 fans for the nozzle: 24v - 0.18A
        Thanks.

    • STD6 hot-end installation

Hello everyone, I would like to place this hot-end trianglelab STD6 ceramic heating core: Heating voltage: 24V
      Heating power: 125W @24℃.
Does anyone have experience with this equipment?
If I plug it in as is, isn't there a risk of burning everything?
      Thanks for your help.STD6 Hotend.JPG

      @phaedrux Hello,
I did some more tests. When I do the homes, I can't get it to go lower than -0.5. But with the baby stepping, I can get the tray up to the nozzel.
I go into the config and make the change.
Then when I do the homes, the plate goes back too low and again from -0.5 I can't make it go up.
      Here are the settings.
I think that it is the BL-Touch that is out of adjustment.
How can I recalibrate the BL-Touch?
      Thanks for the help.

@oliof I move the Z axis with the dashboard move command.
But, at Z-0.5mm, the motors don't respond anymore?
And the plate does not go up anymore. When I manually put the bed against the head, once I do the Z home, the bed goes back too far from the head. And even when I lower manually the tray voluntarily too much. I make the Zhome and again it comes to put itself with the same spacing with the head

@oliof I put M208. It refuses to go lower than Z-0.5mm. I don't understand why?

    • Z setting ??

      Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the tray adjustment. I changed the extrusion head and now the platen is too low in relation to the head. I do the all home, I get to 10mm, I go down 10mm, then I can go down another 0.5mm but when I want to go lower, it refuses.
I changed the configuration but it doesn't change anything.
      Do you have a solution?
      Thank you.

      @alankilian Hello, the T° is 210° and the speed 40mm/s. Layer 0.3
I tried at 30mm/s and there is no difference.
      Faster, I have not done.

      I don't think it's an under extrusion. I am at 105% flo

    • Moving the head off center

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the printing. You will see on the pictures that the movement of the extrusion head is not correct. The movement is more important to the left of the plate. Mainly in X and a little bit in Y. Do you have any idea what the problem is?
      Motor voltage or something else?IMG_6140a.jpg
Thanks for the advice and info.

@t3p3tony Thanks Tony, I'll give it a try. There will be about 10 printers and it should be as simple as possible.
